Reading your posts here it looks like you are the one who is suffering immensely from resentment and inferiority complex. Looks like they took all the best jobs, best seats in the college with their usual intellect and hardwork and you had to make do with the scraps that they left for you and hence this unending whining and venting somewhere else. Look I feel for the likes of you.😭 Youhave a choice though, either continue living like a sore loser and keep on exposing your insecurities everywhere or just wo/man up and work on yourself and try to live a decent life with whatever you have got. ❤️

Let me address 5 first 🙂

5. Hindi is not a "foreign language" if you consider yourself an Indian. Hindi is spoken & used by a large number of people in India. Heck! Hindi in Devnagari script is actually used in many official documentation. Granted, Hindi is not your mother tongue, but is not a foreign language as much as English is. Unless you mean to say you are not Indian but actually are British.

And the argument you put forward is the very reason why we do not have a common Indian language.

1. No, I did not mean Hindi is at present our common language & you should rather speak it. I was actually referring to why we do not have a common language. They say India is an example of unity in diversity. But sadly, right now there is only diversity & no unity because we just cannot come to an agreement on the topic of choosing our National Language. When India got her independence & her constitution was framed, it was proposed that we would be using English as an official language only for the next 10 years & by that time will come to an agreement about which language should be our National Language. And here we are! 76 years since Independence & still cannot decide on one single language & still clinging to English as if that's our legacy! Please don't say South Indian people have had no part in it.

2. And here goes the sweet old generalization again 🙂 You are actually providing real time proofs of all my complaints you know! Read my post again. I do not go to a place & expect people to speak in *my language*, which is Bengali by the way (NOT Hindi) & Bengalis are NOT North Indians. Because I know that is impractical. Bengali is my mother tongue & I love Bengali but I do not expect everyone in this vast country to learn it & speak in it. That's impossible! That's why I feel there should be a common language, (approved & put forward by the Central Government) which every Indian should be taught in schools. That would make communication so much more smooth & hassle free. But for some reason people from South have very strong objection to that.

I do not feel the need to address rest of your post because I have not said / implied anything that you probably are assuming.

My ex roommate who is a telegu took a selfie with me and three other friends and immediately remarked “ oh god dude! Why are you so fair ! You don’t belong with us “

So , this skin color thing is not in my mind .. it’s in their mind

Similarly this north south east west divide is not in my mind .. it’s in theirs.. I am sure the many telegus defending themselves will turn out to be the same if we meet them in person .. but that’s not a possibility and hence they can rant on .. I have no problem with that .. even the worst mcp’s call themselves feminists .. what can we do about it 😔

I m in the US and have a highly paying job with a house and 2 cars 😃 most importantly, I am in a good mental space but that doesn’t stop me from being honest bout my experiences with them and also I am candid enough to share them … my neighbors are telegus ..

Rai ka pahad banana.....I haven't heard what SSR actually said.....but here is my guess....people out of India generally connect Indian movies with BW.....maybe someone asked if it was a BW movie....and he must have said ...it is not a BW movie but a Telugu movie.....which is correct...

See here in USA...my co workers when they met me for the first time....asked me generally ...are you from Delhi....because they know Delhi the most...and I tell them...not from Delhi but a city close to it..Lucknow.....do I not consider myself Indian at that point...should I let them think that I am from Delhi...does it disrespect India?? I don't think so....but people are so freaking hell bent on finding something to bash someone....that it has become annoying...ek word , ek sentence out of context le kar hungama kar doh...🤔
