I just watched few mins of the episodes in prequel, out of curiosity. The prequel was the last nail in the coffin that strengthened my conviction that Anupama was nothing more than an infatuation for Anuj.

I could not put things together, it was stupid & confusing. Anuj comes to see her knowing that she is married, has kids in her 10 yrs of marriage. Knows that she is not going to be visiting US. He gets a glimpse of her smiling with her children. Feels sad,sheds tears, and leaves without meeting her. I dont understand why is he sad suddenly? What stupidity?

Infact, everything shown in the prequel confirmed that Anupama herself deserves no sympathy whatsoever.

I too don't understand why the prequel was made. If it was to garner my sympathy for the char Anupama, it just did the opposite, atleast for me. 😆 Prequel helped me wean off this show to an extent.

The prequel was made to show the different shades of Faber castle pencil aka Mr Vanraj Shah. If I remember correctly, Anuj himself said he never came to India after he left. There is no connection between the prequel and the actual show. Prequel happened in some other reality.

I have seen some parts of prequal and her moti baa continuously told her that she shouldn't trust one vanRaj blindly. She tried to instill some sense in her but in vain. Can blame it on her upbringing. I really hate kanta for raising this stupid with her f**""ed up ideologies.

Plus rupalis acting in prequal is so whack.

Plus how come kavya is an adult and that too married. In my knowledge she is much younger than vanraj. They f...... up badly. The script was poor. It was like a moral science documentary. Rupalis OTT acting irked me.

I did not watch the prequel. Not even a single second. Thanks to Twitter and my friends here I know the story. It was made because DKP had so much money. Samajh nahi aara tha paiso ka kya kare. During those days Anuj was super popular and he was not a puppy of this level, so SP wanted to prove his worth but it just backfired on both his and his maid's character. Anuj was not supposed to be there but to attract the audience they featured him for last 5 minutes
