She is not going to leave him even after marriage.
Oh no she's not
That's why I can't feel bad for her. It's not like she was murtasim's childhood fiance or something. She is disillusioned. Why would she even fantasize someone who doesn't even spare a glance at her😕
She's already a psycho material the way she was enjoying murtasim and meerab's fight by the pool in the promo.
@red: exactlyyyy what I have been saying. If for whatever reason the director/writer feels slap is needed... Then just focus on the slap and the altercation between the leads.
Putting a romantic background and showing him lovingly caressing her cheek changes this very very wrong scene into a romantic scene....which should be avoided.
Murtasim does not feel like a toxic character as yet. But he definitely has a position of power in this family and in the situation. Him slapping her like that is a misuse of his power. But I still feel this is going to be a nasty game played by Haya. She will say something that will lead to him taking such an extreme step...
Can't wait for Wednesday to come 😀
While I really despise violence scenes, this one doesn't feel uncalled for. Though I still think they could have avoided the slap, it does serve a purpose.
First of all, I don't think murtasim is shown as a non violent or calm person. He's infact really aggressive and physical. We saw enough examples of his manhandling from the very beginning. That's one prominent point from his upbringing apart from his misogyny or huge ego. That's why him falling in love and striving for meerab's trust will be worth it. That is if they do show his character growth the way it should be done.
Secondly, meerab's hate against him looks superficial uptill now. It's not really logical. While we know murtasim dislikes her because of his ideals and her rebellious nature. Yet he doesn't really hate her. And that's the premises. With this slap her hatred and resistance will be now justified. Because he has really crossed a line.
Thirdly, though the tashan will be equal because I feel he slapped her because of the beghirat word. It was out of whim hence the guilty eyes and caress on the cheek. He immediately looked guilty. I will consider this a mistake on his part. She too became pysical by pushing him over and over without any justified reason. Its her assumption that he's to be blamed but he's not. so it's not one sided not that I don't condemn it.
Also this whole parentage track is weird. I mean why didn't anyone suspect anything earlier with the amount of intrusion Anwar did in meerab's case. And the way her parents listened to this family?😕

They are still shooting.
I would really like this to happen instead of her demanding a divorce over certain time period. But I think it'll be better if murtasim's character growth comes with him taking a stand for meerab and supporting her dreams rather than her constantly fighting for them and him being a silent spectator of a war between Maa begum and meerab or confronting meerab everytime maa begum goads him.
I think Murtasim's character growth will be interesting. Now he has a different thinking and when he starts falling for her his thinking will also change. Generally people say that when a guy loves a girl he will keep her interests as priority over his interests. Their tashan will continue for few more episodes. Then he will start falling for her. In episode 1, in the first few minutes of OST there is a scene where he keeps his hand on her hand then she moves aside and leaves from there. It will be difficult for Meerab to accept this relationship. Murtasim has to put a lot of effort.
In teaser 7, when Maa Begum slapped Meerab I saw concern on his face. He might have felt bad. But Murtasim taking a stand for Meerab will take time.
I saw this picture. Is this a BTS picture or will it be there in the episode?

It will probably be in the episode.
@bold exactly my point
