Woww.. Now it makes some sense to me as to why makers are hellbent on 2nd ons proposal despite audience reaction... You have put it so well... It's so true that past trauma do affect people's future relationships. Their vision is based on their past experience and they react according to that perspective. We are so used to see ml or fl in full white shade that it's difficult to process a grey shaded ml with his own flaws and mistakes.

another thought -- I know that a lot of people are wondering what kind of story is this and what kind of ML is this. I think we do need grey stories with grey MLs (and FLs). basically have damaged individuals who are not magically cured because of love but instead show them make terrible mistakes, realize, repent and have them work on the difficult process of change. that is so important especially in our society which seems to think that the solution is to just marry people off -- magically they will forget their exes or get over their loneliness or depression or whatever else. however, you carry your baggage with you. so this kind of love story gives a pause and makes us viewers think and feel -- if you have hurts, can you still find love? what would that look like? for some viewers, they need that kind of inspiration. a simple typical ITV love story won't do it for them.

Fiancé was a cheat , Viaan caught her with another man on bed while the act red handed right before his marriage

The betrayal supposed to tear him apart

The same cheater sends a girl child orphaned to him telling “ his off spring “

Viaan our of panic will refuse , later hide her in house with some maids and as usual every secret are tgere to revealed

Katha will get a shock of course she will leave him instead he will move out of his house

Mom will blame the son

Will hate the girl

Then FL will forgive ML

Mother in law will scold daughter in law for accepting such a child
