another thought -- I know that a lot of people are wondering what kind of story is this and what kind of ML is this. I think we do need grey stories with grey MLs (and FLs). basically have damaged individuals who are not magically cured because of love but instead show them make terrible mistakes, realize, repent and have them work on the difficult process of change. that is so important especially in our society which seems to think that the solution is to just marry people off -- magically they will forget their exes or get over their loneliness or depression or whatever else. however, you carry your baggage with you. so this kind of love story gives a pause and makes us viewers think and feel -- if you have hurts, can you still find love? what would that look like? for some viewers, they need that kind of inspiration. a simple typical ITV love story won't do it for them.

Itv is so full of love stories where the complexities coming from a person's own thought process is not explored enough.. It's alwys 2 people in love and a third angle come or someone create misunderstanding between them. But jo unke rishte ka foundation hai woh kitna strong hai and how relationships are so brittle that a person can cause it to break by his/her own fault is not shown much.

I am happy that this show is exploring that and the makers are not shying away from touching on topics sensitive in our society. They have decided to bring the Turkish story to india and are daring enough to move forward the story according to their plan whatever the audience's reaction. They are not changing it much till now to suit our culture.

so plot wise, viaan asking for 2nd ONS (as expected) makes sense. he is totally confused by this woman and does not know how to react to her. I found it interesting that he keeps repeating jeetu bhai's words -- right or wrong depends on perspective, put yourself in katha's shoes. so that is what he does.

he tries to think from her angle and then is confused on why she needs the money and why that specific amount? why didn't she just take that offer from pyramid instead? he wonders why she does not seem to have made any material changes like many he sees around in his circle -- nouveau rich who are immediately splashing their wealth by upgrading their clothes and showing off their designer handbags, shoes and sunglasses. why isn't she behaving like one of those women? that is his frame of reference.

katha ofcourse is not giving him anything and wants him to stay away. but the more distance she tries to put, the more he is intrigued -- she is a mystery that is eating him up because she does not fit his preconceived boxes of women. that leaves him vulnerable because he is not sure how to approach her.

what does it matter to him? because he is interested in her and he is petrified on some level. is he like his father who will end up falling for a gold digger and ruining his life? he needs to know katha's mettle before he can decide how to proceed -- he is a softie at heart and he is afraid to let her in because she has the ability to not just break but crush his heart into the ground.

so we will see him throwing out that second one night stand yet again to see if money is what is driving her or if his instincts about her are right.

while it is messed up, the drama clearly makes us understand that falling in love isn't some magic portion that is going to heal all your hurts. if you have some some of trauma or baggage from your childhood or your past relationships and you haven't dealt with them in a healthy manner, you will bring those negative feelings and thoughts into every relationship you go forward. and that will destroy you as well as any person who crosses your path. so the takeaway from the drama -- heal yourself if you want a relationship.

The second ONS by tester is not meant to analyse Katha rather it is done in frustration bcoz she is not answering why she needed the money

In the promo also his voice over said something like mystery bante ja rhi ho katha ,now i have no other option left to know the reason

So he is still a jerk but yeah ab testing spree se hat kar analysis/decode spree pe h
