Yep, the slap is absolutely unnecessary, irrespective what she said. As to Murtasim's reaction after that, it felt like the hit of instant regret to me rather than anything romantic. As if he's so used to reacting physically to any attack on him or his family that he reacted the same way to her words as well, realising a split second too late who it was he had slapped. And because he has started being affected by her, that almost-caresslike touch following that and the closing of his eyes in regret as she faints in his arms.
I want to see him wallow in guilt for a long while after this and a proper arc for Meerab before she eventually falls for him. But this guy's going to be a goner soon enough.

They should seriously delete the slap scene. The slap was so hard that the girl fainted............and just because she doesn't to marry him. 😡😡
@Bold: 💯 Why to play romantic music in such a scene?? The director has gone mad. What's the point of caressing her cheeks after slapping her??

Can they please delete the slap scene like they did in MH?? Don't show it......leave it to interpretation but please don't show it.
I hope they do. But there needs to be enough outrage for that.
They only deleted it in MH cuz people said it doesn't fit Hamza's character. But Murtassim has a completely different personality, so nobody would really care 😭

yeah I think he’s used to reacting physically probably got it from his mom. His mom has already hit haya next is meerab on the list. I don’t think it’s romantic yet. But he might fall for him sooner than she wud call for him
