Just audience reactions were shown and Himesh comment in the end..

This makes me think it was pre recorded and played during the show

Yes possible. Sonakshi also sang Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aaja solo but it was not shown.

Found this almost-full video of Sonakshi and Pawandeep. Sonakshi really sounding excellent. Also I have tonsay there is a marked improvement in Pawandeep's ability to sing the sargam portions. Earlier (even as recently as SS2) he used to switch to an aa-kaar because he probably knew the tune but not the name of the sur (sa, re, etc.). One can safely guess he is being taught by a person well trained in classical music.

Anyway watch only this part of question answer coz don't have energy to watch people reading the same script and trying to full audience. matlab he is telling scripted thing and telling that Duniya aisa koi jo bata sake ki kya bolna hai seriously jitne bhi success party rakho you won't gain trp if you keep lying and fooling people.

Bold: my question to Vishal would be what votes? Are voting lines on? If yes than per votes surely Navdeep definitely would have been eliminated by now.

According to Vishal, elimination based on votes & marks so why At elimination time - adi says elimination based on judges marks. 😆

Vishal lying through his teeth 🤣

From promo even HR’s statement was not convinced.

My opinion - Those who shout the loudest Usually have the most to hide 😆

Show scripted and about time they admit it.

Skipped last night’s New Year special. Watched SRGMP lil champs for a change

Saregamapa is doing really well kids are really great and it’s not dramatic as Idol but it’s not doing great in trp probably because of the timing issue like same time it has big boss and kapil sharma show and how to forget SP shows they have make 7 days a week.

Yes, it appeared to be pre-recorded. But while editing they could’ve added a nice fitting intro of Pawan. The whole segment sort of fell flat for me. PD tried a classical number & did well. Though both were individually good, as a duet performance I found something amiss, esp in the Raabta song. Something didn’t click - just like those vineet -Debo duets.

Would like to know whether anyone else felt the same or is it just my Arudeep infused mind that played the dampener?? 😁. But I did try to be objective. Sach mein.. 😁

To a jaundiced eye...

The thing is that you can make duet singers look at each other but you can't replicate the absolute understanding and non-verbal communication that develops naturally.

Regarding Pawandeep's classical music - I think he is getting good training from some expert. I spoke above about how he used to miss this in SS2 but I now recollect that even in a recent concert in October or so, he had fumbled while singing Luka Chhupi as a solo. But being the kind of person he is, he just smiled disarmingly and said "thodi galti ho gayi. Abhi main naya sikh raha hoon na sargam... Koi baat nahin, phir se kar lete hain" and then repeated the whole sargam successfully.

Can just say liked Sonakshi more than Pawan 😊It may just be my bias..mostly I like the female voice more in duets except Arudeep whose voices perfectly complemented eachother

Sona was very very confident.

Even Rahul-Vineet performance ending was very abrupt..but they had a segment before that so it's ok

Apart from Arudeep this was visible in Ashish-Sayli and Ashish-SMP combo in II12..one reason is that he puts in a lot of effort in planning the performance..traits of a good music director.

Whose duets do u all like in this season? Sad they had to do Chirag-Kavya drama and both aren't performing together now. Liked few of theirs

Regarding Pawan, his willingness to learn and his humble nature r his strengths, combined with that powerful voice. Some people r musically blessed and he is one of them. Even Kishore Kumar wasn't classically trained but his songs r evergreen..timeless

I agree about Ashish-Sayli and Ashish-SMP. I guess part of that was also the excellent equation they shared. Ashish and Sayli were best friends, and Ashish and SMP almost bonded like elder brother - younger sister. So the point is validated that on stage chemistry is a function of off stage connect.

To be honest I haven't been a regular follower this season. Work and some social commitments have taken up a lot of the time. So I am not able to comment on duets. But from whatever I have seen in terms of promos and performance videos, I feel that Rishi plus the 4 Bengali girls will be the finalists.

Pawandeep - yes agreed. The willingness and ability to learn (and the humility to accept that you need to learn) are his strong points and they will help him as he moves forward.
