lol! At least watch Socha Na Tha or Jab We Met. You will see all the conventional Hindi film elements. Stupid drama between two families, rebelling from parents, confusing infatuation and love all presented differently. Socha Na Tha is my all-time favorite.

So you enjoy most of his movies but you find him overrated. Hmm.. Interesting. Anyways I appreciate him for making a movie about a Punjabi legend. And trying to bring Punjabi characters into the mainstream. I think Bollywood really has tried for the past few years to make an effort. But this seems like a very sincere one. I might be alone in this. But I don't think anyone else could have done more justice to the character in Bollywood Diljit can acting-wise. His films don't seem to garner much buzz in Bollywood.

Plus talking about Diljit, don't think the man gives a flying f*ck about Bollywood success. That's not his target audience, he just signs a film here and there if he likes the story/script.. pretty obvious.

Still quite bit. Would you be willing to give this film a chance if you liked the trailer. As a Salman Khan fans you seem to be more into commercial films and less art movies. As a biopic this is going to be anything but that.
