Curious Update

Geet is very much annoyed and angry too

but why ?

if both she and Maan did not promise to keep in touch

but it somehow feels like Maan did keep his eyes on her

he exactly knew where she was staying

but what trouble is he in exactly

is his money finished that he is now staying with Geet

or is it the fact that he somewhere trust her

I really wonder...why did Maan lied about milk, when he had it ...but he said, whole packet spill...

Now is he planning to give her his clothes for washing...😆

geet is restless thinking why maan come back in her life after 2 years

without any delay maan must share his reason for coming back

which will settle everything in both's life

of cos Geet is unable to concentrate on her work

Maan's arrival has turned her world upside down

her thoughts and questions were reasonable

what big trouble is Maan in?

great that she decided to confront Maan

as expected Maan was unable to adjust sleeping on the floor

at least Maan cleaned up the mess he made

well Geet is back home

why did Maan lie that the entire packet of milk fell down?

Geet's irritation was justified

so Maan questions her regarding this

M- Dudh gir gaya, packet kholte hue

She appears at the foot of the room

G- Kya??? Poora?

He nods apologetically

She clicks her tongue with annoyance

G- Toh bataya kyun nahi mujhe, aate huye le aati main

M- I don’t have your number

G- Toh tum khud jaake le aate! Uff!

She is irritated

She grabs her dupatta and purse to go out to get the milk

M- Tum itna chidh kyun raho ho? Jab se main aaya hoon tum chidi hui ho

Maan retaliates

Geet turns towards Maan facing him

G- Haan, toh aur kya karna chaiye mujhe? A person appears in my life after 2 years 8 months, after disappearing without any communication and contact. Please enlighten me, how am I supposed to react, Mr MSG!

Maan looks at her

Geet is looking at him

He turns his gaze away

M- Bass kuch dino ki baat hai, I will be out of your life

She shuts her eyes and clenches her fist for a moment to compose herself

Geet, he did not want to contact you. He is here because he needs you. Else he wouldn’t have come here

She thinks to herself and walks out of the door to get the milk

He follows her downstairs

M- Arre tum kyun jaa rahi ho. Main le aata hoon

Geet is walking ahead of him in her sleeping suit and dupatta

G- Koi zarurat nahi hai, main apna kaam khud kar sakti hoon. Waise bhi aap mehmaan hain

G- Kaaku, ek packet dudh

She pauses her conversation with Maan to speak to the shopkeeper

M- Main koi mehmaan nahi hoo, main tumhara husband hoon

Maan says matter of factly

Before Geet could react

Shopkeeper- Arre Geet beta, ye tumhara pati hai?

Before Maan or Geet could say anything the Shopkeeper continuous

Shopkeeper- Tum kahin bahar gaon kaam karte ho naa. Chutti leke aaye ho yaa yahan shift ho gaye ho. Sach kahun, pati patni ko saath rehna chaiye. Warna Geet bechari akeli rehti hai aur tum bhi. Dono ko hi akelepann mehsoos hota hoga

Geet- Kaku, dush dijiye naa jaldi, please

Shopkeeper- Haan beta

Geet almost snatches the milk from the shopkeeper and keeps the money

Shopkeeper- Phir aana beta

Shopkeeper tells them as they walk away

As they get home Geet goes in the kutchen

M- Tumne sab ko mere baare mein bata rakha hai?

G- Maine apne pati ke baare mein bata rakha hai sabko, kyunki aur koi chaara nahi tha. Maine itna bataya hai ki main married hoon

M- Aur tumhara pati kaun hai?

G- Maine aur kuch nahi bataya

Maan looks around; her home has their wedding pictures

Geet reads his gaze

G- Woh uss creepy landlord ho bharaosa dilaane ke liye

Maan does not say anything further

G- Tum kyun aaye ho yahan?

M- Maine bataya hai tumhe, main ek musibat mein phass gaya hoon isliye mujhe tumhari madat chahiye

G- Exactly kya hai ye musibat? I want details. I want to help you…as you had helped me….but I need to know the truth

Maan takes a deep breath

M- Fine. I was working in Dubai. So, the firm I was working with was doing some illegal business and I being in the Finance department found it. I became the whistleblower. Now these people are after me. That’s why I am here

She frowns

She is shocked and concerned at the same time

G- Do these people know you are here?

M- Don’t worry, nobody knows about you. Nobody in Dubai knows I got married and got married to you. That’s why I came here

Acha, kisi ko batay bhi nahi mere baare mein…naa hamari shaadi ki baare mein….kisi ko bhi nahi, naa apne wahan ke friends ko….he is ashamed of me and this marriage

Geet concludes in her mind

M- I am trying to get out of this mess. I will be out of here in few days. I will never compromise your safety

Geet doesn’t respond and goes back to the kitchen

Maan looks at her walk away

Seriously Maan

don’t you have anywhere else to stay.

Poor geet what will she think.
