Yesterday's episode is both women ( Katha and MIL ) cutting the men to size. Loved Katha's reaction to Viaan's nonsense proposal, she was seething with rage, her subtle voice change/modulation as she yells at the top of her voice is so realistic😡. The words were garbled even. Can I just admire Aditi for her superlative acting?

What is with the FIL? Our MIL is looking so beautiful and elegant👍🏼, beautiful saree. Everything she said made sense completely👍🏼 I guess we are in for their love story too. The DIL's monologue of me = FIL🤣, I guess seeking attention. " I give paycheck to Sarita" is unnecessarily chauvinistic👎🏼

Loved Aarav, loved the physician. He is really looking out for the kid and Katha. He is the grounding influence in the team, Aarav, Katha and himself, who speaks the reality, has the clarity to guide in making decisions👍🏼

OK, just because she asked for a loan, he assumes she is a gold digger with a loose character and has the gall to "test" her?🤬 I mean HOW😡Hello ! It is a loan, she is not asking for pocket money😔. I don't know how this came about out of the blue. You like her work, appreciate her work, and let her have her own personal life. Woh Gold digger ho toh, uska kya?😡Kya character certificate print karke dene waala hain kya? I mean, how foolish can he be? What if, she threw his job in his face and left at that moment?

Are they trying to show that he is liking her as a person and that is why he needed to know her deeper personality? If so, the build up isn't there. Toh, as of now the ML is a stupid and a nasty guy🤢

They seemed to show him to be disgusted/or is disappointed when Katha came back with her consent. Then his " kab" is like HUHHHHHH?😲 Man, first recover from the shock that 1. your judgment turned out wrong 2. you put forth a filthy proposal 3. Katha IS a gold digger ( in his mind ) before jumping several steps ahead of him and asking seedha " kab"???? Like, what the heck😡😡 If she told you when, would you do it????😡 He is acting as if Uh Oh ! mujhe ab yeh karna hoga, otherwise mera word/bargain ka kya hoga🤔

Him crying with " unbearable sadness" about har taraf se andhera to me is like I have no clue, maaan, what you are crying about. You are worried that your judgment is wrong or are you blaming her because your POV cannot be changed for the better. I rolled my eyes so much that if I did anymore, I would dislocate my eyes😒

Another frivolous mom, Ehsan, his mom scene😳. I guess Viaan chopping salad is to tell us he is not an MCP, he chops his own salad?🤡 OK, here is an atta boy for precision chopping, but he is stupid and an insolent boor, nonetheless😡.

Aditi face with fluidity of expressions did all the acting in her scene with Aarav at his bedside. She is distracted, shocked, but is pulled back into action as she sees her little boy crumbling in front of her eyes😭, wears the mamma cap effortlessly as she explains her upcoming absence. Shock as she thinks about the logistics.

The story has so much traction, loving it❤️. Jee bhar ke ML ko gaali de saktein hain😃, and waiting to see how this guy will fall flat on his face and will eat every single word and thought of his😎I am hopeful that Katha will totally ignore him from now on. Bring it on.........

OK, I still don't feel that they will throw the ML under the bus. He is repulsed by the thought even though he started it😔. He will probably give her a sedative with alcohol ( remember she said she is a teetotaler ) as a priming drink and she thinks something happened and the rest is history......... I don't think they will show any of this to us and drop it on us when we are all raging on the ML for a while.

I think if they show close door and then next morning than may be your theory may apply to save the ml's character from butchering.. We have to wait for today's episode hopefully to know more what the makers are thinking to proceed the story... But i want something to happen between them and ml be a grey character coz I am bored of mahaan ml in all shows. He being grey and then redeem him to be a hero later on will be interesting to watch...

ultimately, every family has to make a choice that feels comfortable for them. however, it helps when doctors give realistic assessment without unnecessarily giving false hope.

like shalzie, I felt the doctor in this drama was a little pushy and seemed to suggest that it can be magically fixed with the surgery. he means well but is bit too confident. like you said, children bounce back well but there can always be complications that go wrong. there was no disclaimers and that is vital for family members to know and be aware -- helps a lot emotionally.

I am not going to tackle the geo-politico-socioeconomic-religious aspect of medicine. It is too big for me to even start addressing. I won't go into the specifics of treatment too, as it is somewhat botched here......

But, wanted to give another perspective. I felt that the doctor is on the money, doing the right thing by Viaan and Katha to whom he owes his allegiance to👍🏼In the story, the doctor, Katha alliance had started before we were brought into the story. So, I am assuming all the options about treatment are laid on the table for Katha to understand and assimilate. So, with this I am also assuming that she understands the pros and cons of such treatment. The other alternative option of not doing anything or comfort care is not an option to the mother in her, when BMT could potentially cure her son. Only shocker is the sticker price😲.

As we agreed upon earlier, the doctor is no God, and hence we need to take his emotions also into consideration. So, what I felt he is doing here is trying to make her understand the desperate situation Aarav is in, he doesn't have months or years, he has days to have something definitive done. As the doctor is part of the team, know that he is also fighting alongside the mother and son, and going through his own emotions of impending loss of his patient, the sorrow of a mother and hence he is forceful and brutally honest in explaining the situation. Some of it is the story is written in such a way to make Katha very, very desperate😭But, I can easily imagine a realistic situation as this.

One other thing I want to point out is, in India medicine is largely practiced paternalistically. In other words, "doctor knows the best". Shared decision making is a new concept. Unfortunately, I have witnessed patients ( my own family members ) becoming defensive when a doctor had laid down options - there were snarky remarks such as if we are to pick an option, then why is the doctor there and the doctor is so easily discredited and his capability and credentials questioned🤢 While a physician who is paternalistic, is looked at as a confident and a capable one. Far from it........ but that is the perception of general public.

I felt the doctor here is a compassionate soul and a grounding influence in this team of Aarav, Katha and himself, he has the best interest of his patient and helping her make the decisions. Yes, money is an obstacle. Unfortunately, he can't solve it for her nor can he give her any advice with regards to that. That is the harsh reality of millions of people in this world😳

But, integrity toh hona chaahiye na. If he is giving money in return for a sexual favor, toh apna character ka kya? If he is judging Katha as a gold digger, Viaan ko kya bolna hain? If he goes through with this act, he doesn't have any right to be repulsed or disgusted by her😡Kyun ki, he is also a part of this tango💔 Dekhte hain, I am up for it. It will be gaalis for him and appreciation for Katha👍🏼 I like it😃

Loving the show. Aditi is hitting it out into space👏. I am going to give the ML some time, I don't think the show let him showcase his acting prowess yet. I am assuming we will get to see him bawling in repentance after the real or fake deed and tab khoob mazaa lengeHope to see you around and will bother you for my emojis from time to time😃

With Katha, some level of trust had started to build but then when she asked for money (forgive him for not knowing the meaning of the word 'loan') uske man me chalu ho gaya ki Katha worked so hard only because she wanted to become permanent fast so she could ask for money, so ultimately what she wants is money.. Bas ban gayi woh gold digger uski nazar me and he 'tested' her.. She said no first and he got happy then came back and said yes and now he's disgusted.. It's like he wanted to trust her so much but she said yes and now he's angry at her and at himself too..

As I said, fcuked up logic.. And since the execution of this track and Viaan's narrative build up was not up to the mark so this is all looking hella confusing Why he is going ahead with it is one more confusing part but let's see aaj ke episode me kya dikhaate hai.. Whatever it is, he will be in hell after he finds out and he will deserve every single second of it..
