Passing the parcel aka Pakhi

It has been just over a month in terms of episodes but seems that Makkhi is going to make a triumphant return to Kapadia House and make life hell for people like Adhik, BB, AB. The same way she was doing to Kinjal, Kavya at Shah House.

So the show is basically Bechaari Maa and Acche pita playing passing the Pakhi and justifying her misbehaviour to others while blaming the other parent.

Shameless Makers putting the onus on mental health issues for the antics of worthless Anuraj kids is one more serious issue mocked at. But neither is Pigtosh cheating on his wife a result of anger issues nor is Makkhis manipulation and jaahil behaviour attributable to MH. More than anything else, it is due to sheer failure in parenting by Anuraj with the blame lying on both not just Trashraj. Having evil grandparents like Dukhmukh Jhula doesn't help either.

Every parent is naturally biased towards their kids. But the actions of Anuraj in aiding their kids while doing wrong, never correcting them properly are not much different than those of Vijayendra Mehta with the severity of crime being much worse there.

While these are just characters, the makers who write them should introspect that if the lives of their near and dear ones are spoiled by people like Tamashahs will they also excuse their actions then by incorrectly bringing in MH.....

BV herself is adopted but still, she is writing this kind of nonsense. They do not research at all. Jo man me aaya likh do. TRP aunties want drama to unko drama milta hai, online audience wants ApMaAn so they get that. Story ka kisko pada hai? Nobody cares about the story. Star Plus is popular and people become habituated to watching this show. In fact most of us are watching it out of habit despite cribbing.

PS: I don't watch. I don't even open Hotstar. 😆

Will just read the forum for updates. In any case, the accurate analysis and points brought by members here is something which the writers are clearly incapable of understanding. They are going to show the same regressive crap but marketed in a seemingly progressive package.

They do understand but you have to understand that this is business for them. They have not taken the responsibility to change the world or anything. I have made some good friends in this forum and they are the reason I come here. Universal Maa ki kisko padi hai 🤣

Also, don't expect anything from ITV. Shows start off well but this rat race of trp ruins every show. Shows that are good according to us will never get TRP

I agree. Usually I watch shows which seem good for 50-100 episodes before they forget the initial premise completely and start recycling the usual tracks.

This one seemed like an outlier and went relatively well till the entry of Malvika. Progressively went down the drain since then.

I have read that the original Bengali show Sreemoyee which it is adapted from showed the second husband dying and Sreemoyee (Anupamaa) disappearing to some old age home after writing a note to the 'maayka' asking them to not contact her. Hope the same happens here as well. 😂 😂

Anuj has confirmed he is another Maharaj in the making now by saying that he would react the same way as Maharaj and MAA did if CA was involved, thereby validating everything they have done till now.

I never liked Anupamaa to be very honest. Her staying in SH post-divorce did not make any sense to me. I watched only after Anuj's entry and that too because Anuj was trying to free her from the shackles. They should not have shown the love angle IMO.. Should have ended Anuj's role by him freeing her from Shah House and then returning to US.

Sreemoyee was much better in my opinion. There also had its own ridiculous plots but man Sreemoyee never coddled her kids like this. In fact, after getting married to Rohit (Anuj there) she never entertained the Shahs there. I hated the ending there but at least I did not hate Sreemoyee or Rohit. In fact, Rohit is the best ML I have seen in any Indian Television show. His integrity was maintained till the end and he even reprimanded Sreemoyee when she was at fault. I still watch some of the episodes because man what a character he was. And there also Dithi (Pakhi) was a paltubaaj but her reasons were reasonable and she was not a freeloader like this brat.

When a normal kid batameezi with her mother mother stop he or slap her n warn her to stop doing it but in anupama case only one slap y i think every time P tries to open her mouth anu slap her n tell her talk carefully

The way he nods his head makes him look like the dumbest person on earth. I wonder if the actor himself watches those scenes and has facepalm reaction.
