Agreed and even how we look at this, varies.

Years back if someone told me they got physical with her BF. That's it, the person would be off my list, I was quick to judge or let's say my belief system didn't accept them.

Today while I still have same beliefs for myself. I don't judge others, on same scale. I have become probably more empathetic/practical/non- judgemental whatever it may be, but I just don't think that way any more. I have come to understand that each person will have different beliefs when it comes to getting intimate. And I accept them as they are..

I hear where you are coming from -- I am conservative and can be quite reserved though I am friendly. I need to feel a sense of safety and trust before I will even emotionally open up to someone and attraction to feel a romantic vibe. so physical space is even more formal for me and I like it that way.

however, even within a conservative family, sometimes a same situation can be looked at differently. so there was this incident with a rishta. the initial meeting was with parents and all. the second was a date at the mall and just the two of us. the guy came off as super self-absorbed because he pretty much talked about himself and only questions was about whether I could adjust to him. in my head, I was thinking that he should just interview for a servant or nanny.

anyway, at one point, we get up from the coffee shop and start walking in the mall. then, he places his hand on my back and moves me to the other side. I was so stunned that I froze. I felt violated -- if he had touched my elbow or my shoulder to move me, it would have been fine but touching my back like that felt too intimate for someone I just met.

I was so mad that I went home and said I wouldn't accept this rishta. everyone tried to convince me otherwise. my elder cousin sisters thought I had misunderstood him and he was nice guy. however, my impression was that he was sleazy and I didn't change my mind.

later, I told my friend who is much more of fast lifestyle. her question was so different -- "how did you feel when he placed his hands?" I said I felt disgust and fear; she told me that I made the right choice because there is no way you can be intimate with someone who creeps you out.

so same situation, people will look at it differently even when you are friends and family. likewise, with this drama, some will see it as a choice she is making (irrelevant whether we agree with it or not), some will say she was forced to make this decision and so it is not really a choice and some will say she made a terrible mistake.

I don't think they will deviate from og story... Becoz if nothing happens in ons then the story can't move forward. Ml has to have the guilt of wronging katha to redeem himself and look at her in a different light altogether. That is the base of the story. If nothing happens between them the guilt will not be much stronger and redemption will not happen.

I know dear definitely they will not change main theme of the series bcz story of OG itself is based on ONS

Google says her name is Asmita Ajgaonkar, one who plays Viaan's mom? may be you can cross check once. Actress was seen onscreen recently in MHRW & BPKH which were SP & SB serials. 😊
