Carolina from Where the Crawdads Sing made me bawl my eyes out on a flight. I only realized it was a Taylor Swift song when I googled it after the flight landed. That says a lot
Taylor has never really done an Americana song before, so it is rather unusual for her. But the movie's entire marketing was centered on the song, so I am surprised you didn't know 😆
It is ineligible for Foreign Film at the Oscars

When and where do they market movies nowadays?! II didn’t even know it was on Netflix until I had already watched it on the flight.
Well it was on of the more focused targeting social media campaigns this year. They were primarily targeting young women, so I assumed you would have run into the marketing. And most trailers featured the song and the Taylor co-sign. Maybe IG thinks you are a 300 year old witch and excluded you from the campaign 😆Originally posted by: PCPGUQDCLJ437I64

It’s sooo heartwarming to hear success stories like this
Rajamouli at one point lived in a crammed room with his entire extended family of dozens living off MM keeravani’s income(composer of baahubali, rrr, jism etc)
Now his journey is so inspiring ….he didn’t even know proper English but to see him learn and communicate beautifully in all these round tables and with the foreign press is so lovely
More power to people like him ❤️❤️
