What are the rules regarding suspensions?

A player who is shown two yellow cards in different FIFA World Cup matches will automatically be suspended from his team’s next match in the tournament. The same goes for any player who is sent off. Further punishment may be handed out by FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee depending on the seriousness of the offence.

After the quarter-finals, all players who have a yellow card shall have this card rescinded for the purpose of suspensions. Therefore, all players will start the semi-finals with a clean slate.

So the semi finalists are:

1. Argentina

2. Croatia

3. France

4. Morocco

After losing vs Saudi Arabia, people werent sure if they can make it to next round however since then Argentina won all their games and is now in Semis.

Even though Croatia was the finalist last world cup, they were still underestimated and not many counted they will go far. And now they are in semis.

Many thought France may get eliminated in first round because of champions curse but they proved that champions curse did not exist and cruised their way to semis now.

Morocco is one team probably almost no one thought forget semis will even make it to quarter final. Being placed in a group of the prev WC finalist and 2nd runner up, they not just made it to next round but also were table toppers.

This world cup is indeed unpredictable. Did any of u thought these 4 will be the semi-finalist eventually 😆

What if its France vs Croatia final again 😆

Out of the 4 Semi Finalists,

Croatia and Morocco are the only two teams who did not lose a match so far. Croatia tied one match and Morocco tied two matches in the group stages and they both are from the same group.

Whenever they won, France is the only team who won their matches within the first 90 minutes. They never went to extra time or Penalty shoot outs.

What does that say?

Nothing.... I just wanted to share.😊

As much as I want the cup to cross Atlantic.This dramatic team is my only hope.I love Messi but the nonsense they put up with makes so unbearable sometimes to watch the game.They will make look Croatia dirty too.

Croatia was phenomenal in last world cup but this time they look a bit lacking. Modric was absolute brilliant against Brazil. 👍

Curse has been broken indeed and how.The very first match of them and I knew they are through.They have all the elements a team needs for world cup That's how a team should look like at world cup level. 👍

Noone I mean literally noone saw it's coming.In world cup history first time ever an African muslim nation in semis.Allah Khair,if they ever pull up with mighty France and otherside,Argentina wins it will be a final first time in world cup history without no European team.👍🏼

I doubt that will happen though.FIFA will never let that happen.😔
