I think Argentina's anger towards the Orange team is based on misunderstanding and poor translations from press conferences.

That bit is true.I don't know if you follow LALIGA Spanish leagues.Van Gaal was Barcelona coach and very much hated by latino media because of his racist behavior towards latino player Juan Romano Riquelime who was Messi's childhood hero.Messi and Romana had first hand experience with Van Gaal.He was then fired by Barca Committee and was penalized by the federation.

Long story short Louise Van Gaal and Argentina had never seen eye to eye and never will.The Argentina Football Federico wanted an written apology from Van Gaal which he refused.

You will notice during the match after that 2nd goal by Messi....he went infront of Dutch bench and did a significant goat impression cuz Romano used to do it after every goal. He was mocking the Dutch coach.😆

I just saw the news at Fox FIFA is going to have suspension against left-back Marcos Acuna and right-back Gonzalo Montiel will be absent from the 2022 World Cup semi-finals due to having received two yellow cards and being suspended.

The whole Argentina team should have been suspended for that nonsense they did

I think the red card only applies to that game not future games. I think they will play with 11 players on Wednesday.

I can't be sure though. Red cards still confuse me. 😆

BTW! I think Argentina's 2 defenders are also suspended for the next game...confirmation hasn't been added.

What are the rules regarding suspensions?

A player who is shown two yellow cards in different FIFA World Cup matches will automatically be suspended from his team’s next match in the tournament. The same goes for any player who is sent off. Further punishment may be handed out by FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee depending on the seriousness of the offence.

After the quarter-finals, all players who have a yellow card shall have this card rescinded for the purpose of suspensions. Therefore, all players will start the semi-finals with a clean slate.
