I always felt that chemistry is subjective, just like looks. This is a much better song than Bijli but I don’t see any chemistry at all.

To each, it's own like you said. I also think chemistry is 50% acting talent. And 50% how a couple looks together. The acting is at par. But yes her chemistry with Sid in Shershah was something else.
