They wasted so many balls n couldn’t turn the favors on pur side. Both bowlers n batsmen have to work hard from now on. I know we would lose this ODI series but as a movie dialogue says Haaro toh haaro apni ijjat mat utaaro. So thats my message to team india fight till the end.
fight chodo. Just play cricket as it’s meant to be. Don’t play test match cricket in odi 😂😂. That will be a good start 😂😂😂
Iyer who hits 80 says its not easy for all players to adapt Twenty 20 in to Longer version of Game.
our selector keep selecting player which are not fit in Correct Format.
India beaten vs NZ since 13 matches in ODI in nz
No need 2 Debutant seamer in very 1st ODI
How can you selected test player in ODI?
BCCI sacked selector including Chetan Sharma after WC t20 so hopefully we can see better team especially ODI team in near future vs Afghanistan we have to play ODI series in june 2026, i wish its change into 2023.

Umran Malik impressed on his ODI debut, but the rest of the bowlers could not pick wickets at regular intervals. Arshdeep Singh looked jaded, and Shardul Thakur was a bit rusty. Washington Sundar was economical, but the wicket deserted him. Batters did their job with Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer notching up fifties.
The bowlers, though, need to step up in the second ODI. Rishabh Pant yet again failed to score big in the white-ball formats. With time running out, the southpaw needs to buck up. Meanwhile, for New Zealand, the biggest positive was skipper Kane Williamson getting his mojo back. He played the sheet anchor role well and ended with an unbeaten 94.

Sahi hai. They play t20 in Test , ODI in t20 and test in ODI 😆
🏏New Zealand vs India, 2nd ODI-- Seddon Park, Hamilton🏏
New Zealand outplayed India in the first ODI. India's batting was impressive in parts but a bit too conservative in the end. Also, the bowling attack just did not have the teeth needed to put New Zealand under enough pressure. Kane Williamson and his men were barely forced out of their comfort zone as they registered their 13th straight victory at home.
Now, it will be interesting to see if India can fight back and maybe alter some of its strategies.
The last time India won an ODI against New Zealand at this venue was in 2009. Since then, New Zealand have defeated India in all of the 3 ODI matches played at this ground.
The hosts definitely have the home advantage. And with a less experienced bowling attack, India will be on the back foot in this format. The young guns could give the Kiwis a tough time in T20Is but here, it’s a different ball game altogether.
Shardul Thakur who’s known for his ability to deliver a breakthrough when the captain brings him back into the attack went for 25 runs in a single Over!!
It was from that point on, Tom Latham switched gears and he and Williamson flew away with the game. Indian batters didn’t do much wrong and it was a very good total as Williamson admitted himself.
India will be again on a batting-friendly pitch. While the batters are likely to continue enjoying these conditions, the bowlers will have a real challenge on their hands, especially if they are defending a total.

Playing 11 --
New Zealand --
Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, Glenn Phillips, Daryl Mitchell, Mitch Santner, Lockie Ferguson, Tim Southee, Adam Milne and Matt Henry.
India --
Shubman Gill, Shikhar Dhawan, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, Deepak Hooda, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Umran Malik, and Yuzvendra Chahal/Kuldeep Yadav.

New Zealand won the first match without ever really needing to stretch itself. Despite that, we don't think they played very well. New Zealand gave up a 100-run opening partnership while bowling and then lost three wickets before reaching 100 during its chase.
At no point did we see New Zealand dominate the Indian bowling except for the final 10 overs of their chase. So what does this tell us?
It tells us that New Zealand has a lot more in store. At its best, New Zealand should be able to make things really difficult for the inexperienced Indian bowling attack. Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, and Tom Latham are the players to watch out for once more.
At the same time, bowlers like Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry are bound to get just rewards for their efforts sooner than later.
Also, the New Zealand batting lineup looked completely at ease against the Indian bowling lineup. Will that change instantly in the next match? Let us hope for the best for India!

There is a lot of rain forecast in Hamilton at the moment. We could have delays, a reduction in overs, or even a complete washout if luck is not on our side. The pitch at Seddon Park is generally fast, bouncy, and excellent for batting. The outfield is also large enough to allow the bowlers a fair chance in the game.
300-320 should be seen as par for the venue once more.
After the brilliant opening partnership of 124 runs between Dhawan and Gill, only Shreyas Iyer guided the innings well with Sanju Samson and Washington Sundar in the 1st ODI.
