Please don't discount yourself. You are a good shepherd. We're all learning so much from your dedication to the retro era. If you are feeling this because of any participant or member or because of the rounds, then rest assured, you are not doing anything less or wrong at all. Everyone has their own perspective and the participants are just having fun, it is not reflective on you or your efforts as a host at all. You and Neha have done a commendable job with every aspect, and that is indeed applaudable 👏

If you are feeling bad about me sharing my other favourites which were not included in the round, my intention was honestly not to demean any or all the hardwork you put into the backlog. I just thought it would be a fun addition to see which other songs could be a part of the mix. But since I was the only one doing it, maybe it felt like a rude interruption, and I am humbly sorry if I was the cause for making you feel that way. Also, the joke about Zindagi Ek Safar was less about the game itself, and just light fun about the music video.

I would love to be part of the game you mentioned about the 40s to 60s, with you as the host. But if not being a shepherd in the future is a conscious choice you wish to make for your personal life and mental health, full support to you 👍

The songs were chosen based on what felt right to me. That said, there were some that I put in that were only loosely related, not expecting people to choose them. But they still did and I cannot discount their choice since it was among the choices offered. If this hadn't been an MCQ I guess I would have to deal with less backlash, but there would also be a lot more invalid/disqualified entries. I still feel this makes things easier - for me and for you. Imagine asking you to pick a romantic duet. 😆 The thousands of options there would be!

That said, you're absolutely free to share other songs that might fit. I'm not claiming to be the sole expert in this era. There may have been many songs I may have missed (or actively dislike so chose not to put them in). Being the quizmaster, there may have been personal biases that may worked themselves into my choice - consciously or sub-consciously. Like wat_up pointed out about QSQT and MPK & how those movies are blockbusters, I also did not include songs from Sholay or Satte pe Satta or many other such blockbuster movies. I actually deleted one Sholay song each from my R4 and R3 lists. I aimed to bring to attention the not-so-popular songs while staying close to the theme.

The joke about Zindagi ek safar? I may have missed that 😳.

About 40s through 60s, I already had a season one on them, so I'm unsure if people would be interested in a repeat version.

Please continue sharing songs, either ones from the R4 and R5 themes that weren't included, or ones that simply did not make it to any of these themes. 🤗
