Lovely review dear .. yes Chavans are twisted., the conversation that bk had with pakhi has ominous tones she will not make things smooth for Savi ..

Though the nice part is ashwini ninad the real dada dadi are overwhelmed.. will keep a hawks eye on the girl if her father is not around.. I do see patralekha trying to hurt the girl.. something drastic that may make her exit for sometime in the story

He kidnapped Sai .. virat had to leave samrat pakhi ki shadi .. otherwise pakhi would have done some drama and samrat would have realised .. and virat would have happily married pakhi .. he was that much in love . The call came to break his illusion ..

rest we all know .killing Kamal Joshi and compelling Sai to marry virat for her safety from him ..

in the next round .. giving stress to sai ka foetus making her infertile plus killing samrat setting pakhi free to create havoc in their lives

now he has revealed the truth virat Chavan .. now what can Sai lose more ?? Savi .

Jagtap not only changes Sai’s story he also influences pakhi’s life a lot more deeply …. They have karmic debt against each other for 2 characters not sharing frames .

You are right Chavans love is either caged or materialistic the main reason why Vinu is drawn towards Sai. Just like his father. But Virat never understood the difference. The only hope are these 2 kids who can show it to him.

The last line which sai had said to Virat he needs to remember that, “continue being the son of the house don’t be a husband and a father” - so true it was.

PS: when Siya told me the precap, the only thing that came to our mind was your love for kaftan😉

Their version or love and how we as audience see it is vastly different...

Precap- Virat closing door on Sai infront of Savi will give such bad impression of him as a father... he's not thinking straight. No girl will accept him as a father if he behaves rudely with her mother.

Chavans are a classic example of toxic, narcissistic family...with twisted version of love that is actually shallow and results in emotional abuse. A child born in such a family is likely to become narcissistic himself or have deep psychological scars that last a lifetime. And there are more such families than we think.

Last year there used to be lot of discussions on the toxic, narcissistic environment that Virat grew up in. Since Ashwini was in version 1 avatar, there was a hope that Virat will rise above the Chavannis - and yet 500 episodes later, he turned out to be one of them. His pleasant, soft exterior has slowly peeled away to reveal the man he really is - much like what happens when we interact with a real life narcissist. Sai effectively walked into a tiger's den thinking it was Garden of Eden. Whether the writers wrote the Chavannis & Virat as narcissistic or not, I don't know, but they eerily fit the bill.
