It was evening, Sun was already down, dark clouds had covered the atmosphere. Geet enters through the gates of her house, just parks her scooty in front of the main door not parking it in it's place. She was least concerned about any other thing now, the blow she got in the morning was very big that she had taken the whole day to digest it.
After parking, she just rushes inside. Her breathing was heavy, eyes had turned red due to crying, her beautiful face had turned pale. The girl who used to cheer others, who was the life of her parents looked like someone had sucked the life out of her!!
Fear was clearly written all over her face.
Geet after entering her room straight heads to washroom. She looks at herself in the mirror, standing infront of the sink.
(Flashbacks)
"Mai aur tum kabhi ek nahi ho sakti."
She covers her mouth with both of her hands crying and slides down the wall having no strength to stand.
"Mai mobile phone ya gadgets kabhi use nahi karti."
"We will meet here only, if we go to town or other places people will be there. Disturbance hoga."
"Please tumhe ghar mai kuch kehke bath ko sambal lo."
All those things which made no sense then were crystal clear now. Jessie saying he doesn't use mobile, why would he need it in the first place he was a ghost.
Him insisting to meet in a lonely place, him not allowing her to touch him. Forget touch Geet had seen him going a step back when she had tripped, instead of holding her. Back then she had wondered why? But now everything had came out, he wasn't there in blood and flesh to be felt! He was just like thin air but the only difference was he could be seen. He had presented himself like a normal human being, he hadn't housed other person's body, for the person(Jessie) whom she used to see and the pictures in his house were of his. Though she couldn't believe that first, but which mother would lie that her son is dead.
Why? How? From when? Questions were roaming in Geet's mind, but she didn't had the answer. The person who could answer, No.. she didn't have in her to face him.
Then catching her breaths, Geet wipes her tears she stands up holding the sink as her support, opens the tap and splashes water on her face.
She was a bit stable, for one last time she splashes water on her face then she straightens herself and the image she saw in the mirror horrified her.
There stood Jessie, in white from head to toe, his black eyes was blue now. A strange white light was coming out of him.
Horrified she turns back to face him but he was no where to be seen!! That experience sent chills down her spine she turned numb.
Geet's breath got stuck in her throat, she could hardly breathe. When she was about to think all this as her imagination, the bulb which was on, in bathroom starts to blink. That brings her back to reality. Terrified with the things happening around she starts to move out of the bathroom with the support of the wall.
Geet sees the lights in her room too blinking, her heartbeat was high. Holding her heart in her hand, she steps into the room. The scene which she saw brought breathlessness back in her. There was Jessie sitting on her bed with his back facing her, he snaps his fingers two times (you can say it's his signature style, when ever he meet Geet he used to do that).
Geet looks at him and thinks of a way to escape that's when her eyes falls on the door of her room which was wide open. She starts to run towards it to get out of the room, but door gets closed on it's own when she was just few steps away. She starts to bang the door hardly and try opening it by turning the knob, calling you for help. But looks like no one present in the house could hear anything!!
"Geet" she stops banging
"Geetu " she starts to move her eye balls to the direction where she saw him.
"Geet" she turns her head sideways to see him, only to get startled. Geet turns around immediately and bangs her back to the door. Her bed was empty, no one was there. She looks around the room with her terrified eyes.
Upon not finding anyone, she moves to the center of the room, holds the bed post and slides down onto the floor.
By now she is crying very badly, she rests her head back on the bed post to gather herself.
"Tumko pata chalgaya na Geet, ke mai kon hu!!"
Geet's breath again got stuck. She slowly turns her head towards the source of the voice
"Phir be, you shouldn't have came to know about it this early. "
She turns her head completely back, only to see Jessie sitting on the floor some feet away from her.
The second she sees him, Geet crawls back screaming only her back to hit the wall. She brings up her knees, closes her eyes and holds one of the legs of her study table tightly
"I had told you that day itself, that me and you cannot be together and I will leave. But you only accepted me."
Though she didn't want to see him, without her will, her head and eyes turned to look at him.
"I want you Geet. I want you! Mai tumhe kesi ke liye be nahi chodunga. I love you. "
Geet sees him sitting on the threshold of her bathroom, horrified seeing him that close she pushes herself back screaming and hits her back to the bed's leg.
Geet covers her face with her palms and starts crying very badly, she finally finds her voice back and screams
"PAPA" sob "MAA" "PAPA, MAA"
Rano and Mohinder rushes towards her room worried hearing Geet screaming. The movement they open the door the blinking of lights stop. Seeing there daughter in that state broke there hearts. Both rushes towards her, Rano hugs Geet and return she crushes and hugs Rano tightly crying.
"Geet " Rano
"Geet puttar. Dekho hum agayi hai. Shanth ho jao." Mohinder
"Geet, kya huva? Kya huva beta?"
Concerned seeing Geet like that, both rub her back and arms to calm her down.
"Waha!! Waha!!" Geet points to the place where she last saw Jessie, her parents turn to look what she was showing and they were shocked to see Geet terrified seeing a lizard!! That was absurd but left the matter there.
"Chipkali, vo Chipkali hai ma. Usko dekh kar koyi darta hai kay? Tum kesi doctor ho? Ha? Ro math, utto" Mohinder tries calming her down, Rano is holding her tightly.
"Geet, ek ladki hokar insab ke liye daarta hai kay? Hum haina tumhari leyi. Aaja."
When Rano tries to separate herself, Geet holds onto her tightly still crying
"Mamma"
"Mamma"
"Ha.."
"Mamma, mu..jhe sha.dhi....nahi karni hai.....shadhi nahi karni hai."
"Haa, aab pata chalgaya ke tum aise kyu karrahi ho." Mohinder " U are worried about getting separated from us after you get married right."
"Pagal ladki, shadhi ke bad hum tum ko humse dur karungi kay? Hum to yehi rahenge."
"Meri sath he raho " came her meek voice.
"Shanth ho jao beta" Mohinder
Geet tightens her hold on her mother
"Aap meri sath he raho. " Geet
Mohinder asks Rano to stay with Geet seeing her condition.

Next day morning, Geet is sitting on the bench which is below a tree in her house compound and is staring into the town which is at some distance.
At the same time Shilpa on her scooty enters into the premises and walks towards Geet after parking the vehicle. She is wearing a pink color chutidar with Jasmin adoring her hair.
"Kay Geet, yaha betkar kis ko line mar rahi ho?"
She sits beside her and waits for her to taunt or give lecture as always, but she doesn't get any.
"Geet, kay huva? U are looking dull."
"Mai galati kar diya Shilpa." Geet answers still looking forward
"Galati? Galath karne ke speed mai maihu, I only haven't committed any such mistake. Then what mistake did you commit?" she tries pulling her leg to cheer Geet's mood.
Geet slowly looks at her with pain
"Geet, tell me properly what has actually happened." Shilpa asks seriously seeing Geet's face.
Geet narrates her what and all happened from the time she met Jessie. Shilpa listens to her patiently and after she finishes she bursts out laughing
"Pagla gaye ho? Haha.. Which movies story are you saying to me? Didn't you get anyone from morning, that you are trying to fool me? "
Shilpa continues laughing but she stops seeing Geet crying.
She becomes serious "Geet. Are you serious? Kay tumne jo kuch be kaha, vo sab huva ta? "
To which Geet only nods her head in an yes.
"Such hai Shilpa. Just like you no one would believe me. *sob* Mai kay karu? Kaise yakin diladu?"
"O My God!" Shilpa gets up and thinks for a while and comes to the conclusion of what actually could have happened and suddenly something flashes to her. She turns back to Geet
"U said ur parents are searching a groom from u right?" Geet nods her head in yes.
"Look, that's the only solution you have for your problems. First get married to him and leave this place."
Geet stands up and looks at Shilpa what are you saying?
"Yes, other than this u are left with no choice."
"What are you saying? *sob* Jessie is no more, but I have given my heart to him. How will I be able to live with someone else? "
"Don't become emotional. Kay tum ek aatma ke sath rehi sakthi ho? Will anyone believe all this? They will misunderstand you. You will be blamed saying you have committed some mistake and what ever you are saying is nothing but your own cooked up stories."
"Tum aur tumhari ghar ke izzath beech raste mai gava jaye ga. Kay tum vo chati ho? "
"U used to always call me heartless no. Now even if you don't want, for ur and ur families betterment you have to do it."
Shilpa understood and believed in what all Geet said but not the fact that Geet was in love. She could see to the extent Geet's naive mind was manipulated. The best way to save her friends life was to send her to a far way place, then maybe because of change in environment she may herself realize all this.
Shilpa promised to do all that she can to settle and make Geet's life right.
Shilpa prayed that the person whom Geet is getting married is a calm, strong man who would always be there by her side.
