That's what I said if her parents were focussing on her entertainment career n trying to get her beautiful for that how come the question of getting beautiful for marriage even arises.

Also if we see her childhood pics she is not dark at all. At least Suhana, Nysa r bit dark skinned so if she would have said it to maan bhi lete..

Are people seriously defending Sonam here? 😆The message about body shaming is not the problem here but the messenger herself. Nobody is denying how real these issues can be, but from Sonam, come on. That's total bs. Sonam has literally body shamed and mocked certain actors looks on public television. She is so not in tune with whatever she is preaching in the video. She equated people looking ordinary to bad tooks and said they are automatically assumed to be good actors on KWK lmao. She has regularly age shamed, fashion shamed actresses. Some selective ignorance is in the air today.

Guys wanting to be the paragon of morality doesn't mean you turn a blind eye to the bs certain actor has spouted before. Come again, thank you.

not sure..but its more about her own upbringing and how her own parents were not there when she needed them..better watch the video to get the full grasp over it

Most actresses try to get married to businessmen so that was a 2 in 1 situation. Sonam has undergone skin lightening, as a child aged 12-14 she had darker skin.

Sonam is very self-obsessed, but I did take offense with some of the replies people were posting on here.

Her cousins like Khushi, Janhvi, Shanaya, even Anshula deserve more respect for their personal choices because they have not selectively mocked people on TV. There's a difference between calling out an actor/actress for being bad and witch-hunting their insecurities.
