None.

A lot of people think that the 2nd option is the right one (and they might be right) but for me the experience has been exhausting.

Returning someone's affections out of gratitude and not out of love, watching their disappointment when they sometimes realise that you are not as emotionally invested as them and then having to assure them of your 'feelings' coz you don't want to hurt them.

It just leads to long term resentment for both the parties.

I agree with you, but these were the 2 options given🤷‍♀️

Ideally, it should be mutual.

But I would never want to be in a position of simply hoping the other person would love me back. There's an arrogant naivete in the belief you can make them return your feelings, and it's almost certain to end in heartbreak.

The 2nd one is at least something under my control because I am old enough to be in control of my own responses to situations.

DO YOU GUYS NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR OWN HEART

You can always win over the person who doesn't love you if you are smart

In the second option, you have to rely on someone else to win you over

Be logical

What's your plan of action to win over Hrithiku?

None. Both options are terrible and will lead to toxic relationships.

Why unecessarily complicate your life? 😔

They are mirror image situations. But the question was limited to these options.

Better to remain single than these above options.

And What about the other poor guy who loves you more than anything in this world?

I will try to make that person fall in love with me. I know it will be difficult but can't hurt my heart🙂🙂

None. The one who doesn't love me won't make me happy. Same for the second option. I won't make the person happy if I don't love him.
