If the person loves me, I would also love the person. It would be lucky to get a person who loves you. So yes i would marry a person who loves me and wants to marry me ofcourse there are lot of other issues would pop up when it comes to marriage. I believe marriage is not only between 2 people, it is between 2 families. So I would also consider how the person's family is especially if I have to live with them.

But that is the question. You don't love him. Will you forcefully make yourself fall in love with him?

If I know the person loves me I don't need to force myself to fall in love with them. Love is the purest emotion, I believe one would be the luckiest to get loved by someone. It's rare to find/get someone who "Love"s you these days.

The one who loves me. 100%. My response to him would be under my control, so that marriage will make or break depending on me. And I know me.😆 I'd rather die than give up. Nor would I hurt his feelings.

Where as in option #1, I'd have to hope *someday* he will return my feelings. It's a crushing situation. Almost never ends well, except in romance novels.

You are projecting. The rest of us are not you.

Who is sacrificing? Yes, humans are selfish by nature. That's why most of us want to be with people who love us and not the other way around.

And it's a bit presumptuous to think you can *make* the other person love you. Most likely, he/she will start resenting you instead.
