Oh nothing much to tell so I won’t let your curious mind wonder. I’ve had stomach issues for a long time and because of that I was referred to a gastroenterologist. I did a colonoscopy and found 15-16 polyps in my bowel. He removed the polyps and was shocked that I had them. Apparently it’s only common in people aged 50 +

Polyps can turn into colon cancer (especially the type that I had). The scary thing is that there’s no symptoms of polyps until it grows into cancer. It was by pure luck that I got referred to him because of symptoms unrelated to the polyps. Now every year I have to get a colonoscopy done because the polyps will never stop growing.

Now imagine I never went to the specialist. I would’ve never known I had this condition before it was too late. So I’m thankful for my stomach issues. Let this be an educational post for all. Always get yourself checked up. On that note, I’ll try to squeeze an hour of sleep before my alarm goes off.
