Waah! Kya gaaya hai ..Charu 🤩❤️ I loved it. Your antara was just perfect yaar, matlab kahin se kuch bhi shrill nahi laga, I enjoyed listening to it, kitni pyaari awaaz hai tumhari, achha laga sone se pehle itna achha gaana sunn ke :) thank you 🤗

Tell me if I'm getting it correctly. This song Pukarta chala hoon mai, can be sung both on a high scale as well as low scale right? But Rafi sahab sang it in a low scale and that gave the song is unique softness and pleasing to ear feeling. Am i getting it correct?

Also the way Rafi sahab sings the line 'bas ek chhanv julf ki' is pure love. The way he sings softly and pronounces the line 'zulf ki' is the heart and soul of the song.... For me atleast.

I tried singing it on a medium scale but wo feeling hi gayab ho gayi jo low scale par aa rahi thi. Now singing at that low scale is another new challenge for me. i checked for its cover versions on YouTube and there was one from indian idol. The guy, although was singing in sur, was not singing on that scale on which Rafi sahab sang and i could see Asha ji's displeasure on her face...

Anyways, the point is i would need to practice a lot for that song and still may not be able to sing it well enough. But i don't want to totally butcher it..so i will post only when i think it is bearable enough😳

Thanks so much NP 😳 I always thought I will need slightly lower pitch to be able to sing the antara correctly. Don't know why I wasn't able to sing it last week! 😆 Had fun singing it, thanks to you!

True, pukarta chala can be sung in higher scale too.. but with each line, the pitch keeps getting higher so if it wasn't started with lower one, achieving high scale later would be way too difficult. Ofcourse not for Rafi saab but for us.. 😆 I realised it only after you said it, yes the song is actually difficult! No worries.. take your time and share only when you feel happy with it.

And about essay! Don't worry.. I end up doing that too many times.. 😆 Aur likho aur likho.. aise discussion me maza aata hai.

I liked it a lot. Yes there's a scope for improvement but u sang it with full emotions. That 'aha' was just ❤️. Bahut playful si feel aayi singing me which was the requirement of the song. Well done 👍🏼
