I don't think aisa koyi scene bhi hain hamare yaha 🤣

New jewelleries are made and given to each other on weddings. 

But now in our family all have started having 2 and most of my cousins have 1 kid toh shayad khaandani haar ka system start ho 🤣

 I did get other stuff from my in laws  but from my mom’s jewelry I got her kangan as I have other siblings too 😆. So I decided to give kangan to both of my kids.

For Tamil Brahmins like me, engagement and it’s expense is footed by boy’s side and wedding is footed by girl’s side. 

But, more less, what you said is there.. girls side has to spend a lot for the wedding & gifts
