In real life also AB sr is way more liked than other 2 in the list. Dharam himself said Amitabh ek engine hai aur hum sab dabbe ki tarah uske peeche lagte hain bas. And called him the leader and engine of this profession and industry and himself said no one tries as many new things or has had lasting appeal across generations as he has.

The crowds outside Bachchan's bungalows and temples made for him as well as his performances still being mimicked or aped or studied and analysed say it all about how liked he is or not.

If he has overcome all heinous controversies and cases, then it is all due to his abilities as an actor. He is liked even by his arch rivals who could not stand him earlier such as Shatrughan Sinha.

That says a lot.

Who told you Rishi had comparable stardom like AB sr? Dharam was doing great but it was Vinod Khanna who was a very real competitor to AB sr in 70s and earlier Rajesh Khanna (before downfall). Rishi was never as huge star. Even Shatru, Jeetu, Mithun have given more hits as solo heroes than Rishi.
