I do believe Basit will firstly bring Ayesha back and one of the things which he has already started thinking about is the fact that Ayesha has no faith in him anymore in terms of his commitment towards her and whether he will ever give her importance as anything more than the woman he chose to be his wife. And perhaps seeing Soha will actually make him realise his own feelings about Ayesha, that she is special and that she alone was the woman he could ever love.

I don't think Soha will bring out her cattiness so easily. She is too polished for that. But she might make snide comments, try to probe at Ayesha's insecurities, like talk about what she has studied, or whether she likes to travel and if so which countries she has visited. If she asked Ayesha about her studies, that would make Basit think of Ayesha having won the scholarship that she had to refuse in order to support her family. Then he might do more to help Ayesha return to her studies. Soha would bring up Basit and her engagement...this might make Ayesha think that with Soha, Basit had been more emotionally invested and this will give Basit an opportunity to prove to Ayesha that there was no such thing as love in his marriage proposal to Soha.

Soha's subtle mean girl attitude towards Ayesha would reveal to Basit how Ayesha can hold her own before such behaviour but will also make him want to take Ayesha to different places, perhaps remind him that he never took her on a honeymoon. Or that he never even gifted her something for muh dikhayi. Soha will end up being the reason Basit contemplates his own attitude towards Ayesha. I really want him to wear one of the shirts Ayesha gifted him and show her that he is wearing it.

I absolutely agree that Soha will be the catalyst in helping Basit realise what he feels for Ayesha.

I think we all want to desperately witness a caring and protective Basit. We’ve seen glimpses of him with Ayesha but we are yet to witness a full fledged caring husband. I really hope they don’t leave all the love for the last episode and give us good scenes in between.

Prolonging this separation is the worst thing that they can do for this show. The entire Twitter is raging.

I was rewatching this scene (I mean what else can one do!?) and noticed that Basit looks at Ayesha's side of the bed, then towards the dresser which presumably has Ayesha's "cheezain" which she had told him to throw away..and then he looks at the couch where he has spent "moments" with Ayesha.

I am guessing everything in this room now reminds him of Ayesha.

I know the feeling! I have rewatched the scenes where Basit is yearning for Ayesha countless times already.

It is true that now Basit associates his “home” with Ayesha. I’m sure he internally regrets calling the house “his home”. He just looks so lost now without her. It’s almost like he feels empty in that mansion and doesn’t know what to do in it.

This is the same Basit who had a set routine and hated anybody disrupting it, he preferred to eat alone and work in silence, stayed late for meetings and always relied on house help for the smallest of things. Now we see him venturing into the kitchen and making himself something (don’t know whether it’s tea or coffee), almost like he wants to be in a space that he associates with Ayesha, maybe to feel her essence ☺️

Sadia was so accurate when she pointed out that Basit has started missing Ayesha’s presence when she’s not home.

He even said that, no? That the silence and solitude in the house had never felt this oppressive to him before. And when Ayesha tells him in the hospital that she went to his house, he asks her lightly that so now it is his house? But of course, by throwing her out, he has made it clear that it is indeed his house, and as archiesview had said, perhaps the apartment gifting came out of this sense of guilt that when they had fallen out he had made her essentially homeless. So being Basit, he is like so what if this is my house. now you can have your house as well which is your own

And he does look lost without Ayesha, I love how you describe his inner turmoil, the changes that have happened in him. ❤️ Please pretty please, write that story...the one about the Soha factor.

I suddenly remembered that moment when Sadia told Ayesha about Basit missing her...she was like "it was sooo obvious"! poor Ayesha...all this never happens where she can see it too. Before her, Basit always has to appear, cool and collected, the master of his universe unless he is emotionally shattered (like after Sadia's death or when he lost it on seeing Fahad with Ayesha)

Btw I suddenly thought of something...we keep saying that Ayesha doesn't know of the deal between her mom and Basit...but Ayesha's family also doesn't know that Basit and Ayesha got married because of Basit's father's will. I mean, in Ayesha's eyes would that extra 75 lakhs Basit paid her mother make any difference considering the fact that she already knew that this marriage was a part of a business-related decision? Only thing, perhaps it would help in breaking her even further since till now she has at least this source of comfort that she never tried to profit out of this marriage and that by marrying Basit she returned him a favour. But if she learns of Qudsia taking the money, then she will lose even that.

Even when she was talking to Basit, it looked like she was probing for details of his marriage, saying stuff like it easy to get married but hard to maintain the relationship. I’m sure if she ever got to interact with Ayesha, she would subtly try to portray in front of Basit how she is so much better suited for him in terms of education and lifestyle in general.

It would be so much fun to see Ayesha hold her own in front of Soha. I would love to see Basit realise how he could travel together with Ayesha and show her different countries and cultures. Ayet on a honeymoon would be so romantic! Where do you think Basit would take her? Moreover, will Ayesha ever experiment with her looks? Will she wear anything westernised while travelling? Oh my gawd!! There are so many stories cooking in your mind!!! Girl, you need to up and write down some of them!!!!

Basit would probably want to take Ayesha on a grand tour of the Continent but I would love a story where they are in Morocco or some romantic place like that, with Ayesha exploring the cafes and quaint curio shops and wonderfully painted bylanes and tucked away out of the world sort of neighbourhoods.

Perhaps in a new country, away from the burden and baggage of her home and family, Ayesha's natural nerdiness will finally surface in front of Basit. And we will see an Ayesha who is all excited discovering these new things, new places, new culture. While she is doing that, Basit would be discovering Ayesha, equally wide-eyed but hiding his wonder and admiration better. He would let her lead him around, secretly buying the things she would admire in shops but then put away because she still isn't all that comfortable spending his money. I want him to smile at her the way he had that day on the couch when she was reading that book. And perhaps finally one morning over breakfast in their hotel room, cast aside her well-thumbed guidebook and shower her with kisses instead.
