I also watched BALH today! Loved the way the ML stood for his child and the way he trusts the FL. Misunderstandings may be there but the trust is unwaivered. That is good writing

I hate the word feminist... and I have been called that on occasion too...

But that's the thing ... we are not the target audience. So all the content they make is for a different demographic. One who is indeed suffering and finds solace in someone else as an escape route. The characters wins are their personal wins.

The one organ theory is how much they have reduced a character like Virat to👎🏼. Can't help it but feel sad for him. 😔

Like Msin says... Anupama is too good to be true. But for the audience which consumes it, Anu is epitome of all that they aspire of. Anuj is just an accessory. The real struggle is of Anupama.

For years, I didn't watch TV because I couldn't get this... I used to make fun of these shows. Ghum is still my dark secret. Guilty pleasure 🤪

Sai as character was the major factor which pulled me to Ghum. Lock down second and Forum third and most important now.

It is easier to leave the show if not for the friends I made here and the discussion we have. It gives such a nice perspective. 😌

.watched today first time after leap. Till now read updates only. my doubt is pulkit jiju is there in today's party ...he was so excited to meet Sai ki beti when he met Sai on road. Now did he even said hello to savi when he saw her in party🤔

See i m doctor if u dnt hv post graduate degree then ur starting in city like mumbai is around 25-30k n sai was living in kankawali thts my gav n it is very well developed bt not so many hospitals so them showing sai building hospital was stupid bcz in initial career period doctor actually doesn’t earn so much to build hospital

TRP audience wants to see a FL be the underdog/win against all odds but that means that they should also give those wins - big and small- enough SS. Not gloss over it. Everything happy is rushed. Everything toxic is prolonged. And the small wins/happy moments/moments of accomplishment are few, rushed or badly written/edited/shot, shot with BDs.

Its not just TRP audience but all audience that enjoys seeing a story of someone triumphing against all odds and emerging victorious after going through the grind. Thats a universally appealing emotion. The angst of a character we love is something that definitely is very impactful and when people feel connected they feel a sense of community when they cry, share the grief of the character. Sai/Ayesha has definitely achieved that. I cry when she cries. But then I want to see her do more than just cry or hide her tears and fight back. I want to see justice. I want to see more wins. I want to see them show some rewards for her goodness, not punishments and suffering all the damn time. I want to see the narrative be from her pov and not from a V/pp and Chavannis whitewash pov.
