I don’t mean real snuff films but aren’t movies like a serbian film snuff inspired? Or am I whack? Anyway I saw the devil was tame. Which reminds me of this. It’s a decent watch, less gore.

Yes those movies are indeed snuff inspired but u know its not happening or has happened to real people. The fact that it has happened or is happening to real people or animals is what makes all that difference. For ex. The scenes in the Kashmir files were absolutely nothing compared to these movies but still it hit me very hard because i knew those things happened with actual people with names ( eg..Girija tickoo) and whose photos i had seen.
It was said that real animals (a tortoise) was killed while making the movie Cannibal holocaust and as soon as that scene started i fast forwarded it. I know it's weird cos i watched that movie despite knowing that that scene existed, even though i didn't watch that scene... But then went on to watch impaling and roasting of humans just because that was not happening in real 🤷🏽 That's definitely a case of how far u r willing to bend ur morals or tolerance.... Same with these kind of movies which r inspired by snuff movies or even gory action movies for example. There U know the violence is not real for those u r watching on screen hence u allow urself to watch and even enjoy that violence. Its a case of detailed study about morals and what actually makes the difference between real and fiction for people...
Hell... Am i even making any sense? 🤔
