lol such fancy words used at the drop of a hat against a guy who has been such an important cultural icon - misogynist, ageist, sexist.😛

Iss baat pe ek doha yaad aaya:

Bura jo dekhan main chala, Bura na miliya koy,

Jo dil khoja aapana, Mujhase bura na koy.😉😆

Its completely ok to criticize Bachchans for their misogyny and old school values but the problem with this thread is Aishwarya fans in their overconcern for her are making her look like a bechari aurat stuck in an unhappy marriage. She's not a bechari nor is she bound to stay in a marriage which is not giving her any kind of happiness. She can walk out of the marriage whenever she wants. If she's not doing it that means she's not completely unhappy in that marriage as some of her fans here claim. She's benefitting in some or the other way from her relationships.

Abhishek is the most unsuccessful adult in his family and I feel he's a bit insecure now but just by watching 1 or 2 videos I can't jump to conclusions that he is a bad husband who doesn't treat Aishwarya very well.

Shweta is not a career oriented woman. Just because she got married at a young age that doesn't mean she can't build her own career. One of my friends told me Shweta had made some kind of a statement that she feels lucky she never had to work for a single day in her life. I won't call her a freeloader because it's her choice whether to have a career or not but I don't like how she openly shoes her dislike for Aishwarya but then it's affecting her own image more than Aishwarya's so yeah she's making a fool out of herself only. 😆

Keep your fancy dohas to yourself please or direct them towards celebs you dislike.
This forum isn’t for anyone to shit on members, fans, non fans.

Cultural icon hoga apne ghar pe. If we see him as a pos, we will call him out for being one.

Who called Aishwarya an abala naari?

She spoke out and how against Salman. If she wanted to, she could walk out of the Bachchan family. She has the money and the support to live on her own. Unlike Jaya back in the 80s, this is 2022, and Abhishek doesn't come across as a vindictive jerk unlike his papa.

Some women stay because they weigh various factors and decide to stay.

However, that doesn't make the Bachchans blame free.

Her decision still doesn't mean she deserves bad treatment. It's a decision DESPITE the obvious cold shoulder.

Ya ok. Who has stopped you? Continue.

Most of the discussion here is based on assumptions coz last I checked, Aish hasnt said anything. I don’t really believe half the stuff coz it’s a fan feeling.

But everyone is allowed to have feelings. My feelings in this matter is Nothing. Nada. Nulla. Zero. Shunya.

Aish is a privileged lady. She can fight her battles. For me, I will spend my energy on someone who is not privileged. It’s just a personal preference.

Correct me if I am wrong. You are perhaps one of the most neutral members here. You are not a die-hard Aish fan or blind worshiper of any celebrity. You are objective and mostly root for good entertainment.

Gunaah ho gaya kuch gossip kar ke So many people mocking members for some harmless gossip. Jitna film analysis review threads pe hota hai , paid critics bhi nahi karte. Woh bhi band kar do phir !

Bacha kya if we can’t have some fun speculating on these people ‘s lives ?

Aah the famous gossip threads. Where each and every celeb is the worst person possible.

Which is fine. They could be for all we know. But those gossip thread had some of the nastiest thing written about women and kids based on someone’s imagination. Someone lurking here picks it up and runs with the rumors. This is internet. It stays there. What if that kid grows up and reads about it?

what starts as your “harmless fun” ends up being a ground for beyond disgusting theories.

Now you may not do that. But There’s no stopping low lives from making new IDs and mudslinging. I hate it when kids are involved. I hope and wish those threads never return.

Ok say if Amitabh being a misogynist is my assumption although he has made some very public misogynistic statements in public. Parveen Babi openly talked about her experience with him. Even if we assume she was mentally unstable.

It is not an assumption to anyone in the Sikh community that he was part of the November 1984 genocide. Doordarshan had the footage of him shouting koon ka badla koon. There were various affidavits filed against him ? Should I not be able to speak about that openly because his grandkids might read it ?

what about the beyond horrifying generational trauma my community suffered? Point is he chose to be a public figure. He chose to very publicly do terrible things? Should we be held accountable in this instance or him ?

I said it many times. More then once. Aish will always be a legend. She at the very least has a loyal husband. But I have seen Amitabh talking openly on more then one occasion that he appreciates women as caretakers.(on camera ) he told this to Kajol. Shouldn’t he have been more wary too?

I am talking about gossip threads. My comment you quoted is particularly about those disgusting threads. You weren’t here when they were popular. They spoke worst about Aishwarya the most! Do you know about them?

I don’t care for what you think of Amitabh. Your views. You can do without essays. I ain’t reading em. But your choice if you still want to write them.

This will be my last comment here. It is clear how neutral of a perspective I speak from. My intentions will always be judged as an Aish fan. I think she knows what is best for her and her happiness. I already tried to say that. I have always found the Bachchans old school. And I spoke of very concrete examples not assumptions. But looks like it was mistaken as some type of overconcern
