Finally - after 3 LOOOONG years, the season has finally started on the right foot. I feel BB has returned to its glory and is doing its best to undo the damage caused due to Seasons 14 and 15.
1. We no longer have seniors. As someone pointed out on the forum, having seniors onboard ruins the flow of the show. Participants crawl back into their cocoons out of respect for these so-called useless seniors.
2. Bigg Boss is no longer laid back and lax in its approach. For the past so many seasons, BB would call someone to the Confession Room, delegate tasks, lay out the instructions, and put the onus of their fate in the house on the shoulders of the contestants. This is no longer the case. BB is proactively participating in ensuring that order is maintained and everyone is doing what is expected of them. BB's involvement is what was missing in the past couple of seasons.
3. No more Jungle vs Main House, Hell vs Heaven Zone, and Airplane vs Garden vs House nonsense! We are done with those failed experiments. The show has started off with everyone in the main house - the way it should have always been. One of the reasons Season 15 failed to impress the audience was because of the MESS this division had caused. The show looked gloomy and dark because of the poor lighting in the jungle area. Let everyone go through the same treatment and let their true selves emerge, albeit with BB overseeing them 24/7.
4. We no longer have repeat failed concepts of the past - Vishwa Suntaree (Season 15), Ghar Ki Maalkin (Season 13) and even Seniors (Season 14 and 15).
5. Food supplies have been rationed the way they are supposed to - right off the bat. No more privileges like they had in Season 14. Earn your own bread!
6. Finally, the INTERIORS of this season's house are GRAND. No other season witnessed such grandeur. Everything is MAGNIFICENT and GLAMOUROUS. Now whether or not these people deserve this beauty is a different issue.
For me, so far, the show has started off on a positive note. I am looking forward to enjoying BB how I used to back in the day.
PS: Thanks to the CHALLENGERS, especially Arshi and Rakhi, Season 14 was STILL manageable. Or else, I would have dusted it under the rug along with Season 12 and Season 15.
