I do think there's an issue with Shweta. Years ago there was a video of both Ash and Shweta on a red carpet and you can see the tension. I wish I could find the video but there was one red carpet event where Ash tries to be friendly but Shweta clearly blows her off. I think at one point Shweta says something angry to her and you could see Ash's discomfort. So we have no idea what's caused the issues between them. Shweta was Abhishek's best friend so when you add a new wife into the home that often causes issues between the women.

I believe Shweta might be secretly separated. She now lives more in the Bachchan household. She might not have any life of her own left. It seems things were fine until Shweta was happy in her own home. When you have to chose between daughter-I law and daughter. Blood is thicker then water .

That's not the video but you can clearly see the awkwardness. The video I saw I don't think Abhishek as present at this event and Shweta actually says something angry towards Ash. .

The most glaring point one member made was that AB Sr keeps sending flowers and letters of appreciation to every tom and dick and harry but not a word on his DIL. Out of curiosity, I went and checked his insta handle where he’s promoted everything from KRK’s book to retweeting every random tweet praising AB jr in his shitty films saying how proud he is to be his father. A couple of tweets on Agastya’s debut Archie’s and pretty much everyone in the family with little to no pics of Aishwarya and shockingly even Aaradhya. Today he’s at an event backing Navya’s sham healthcare initiative.
Abhishek could have at least attended one event with her to show his support. His twitter goof up on day of PS 1 release was embarrassing.

The Thackeray story is interesting and believable. There were lots of theories around this all of which have been wiped out now, Bachchan PR.

This all actually makes me feel sorry for Abhishek. You can see he's trying to stand by Aishwarya and he's stuck in the middle between his wife and sister. Shweta just seems so cold. She won't even look at Ash.

Yeah but you're assuming a lot of things. Ash makes her own decisions and I believe its been her decisions to take all this time out and just be a mom.

Its common to not get along with In-laws. Millions go through it. No big deal.
