Tellywood is going the Bollywod way. Just as you see a multi starrer on the big screen now television is also planning something similar. A multi- starrer show on NDTV Imagine is soon to redefine the way we view the small screen. SOL Entertainment and Imagine is coming up with a unique event based show called Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which will present the big names of television.
Rucha Gujrati, Manav Viji, Panchi Bora, Jay Bhanushali, Pulkit Samrat and Mouni Roy are the stars who will feature in the show. The story of the show revolves around young love.
"It's a story of three couples who are in college. I'm cast opposite Manav in the show," confirms Rucha.
"I'll be essaying a role of a college going girl who is very hot. This mad guy Manav from my college is in love with me. After trying his luck several times he gets annoyed as he fails in his attempt to impress me. The show will portray the journey from how he proposes to me and in the end gets me to say yes. Each and every couple will have the same theme but portrayed in a different manner," she adds.
Panchi is also very excited about her stint. "We have already completed the shoot. It was fun to shoot for two days and now I'm back with my own show," she avers. She is paired opposite Jay Bhanushali.
"Basically the story will portray how these three girls initially hate those three guys but later fall in love with them," chirps Rucha.
"KKHH could be called a two day act and dance show," states Panchi.
When is the show going on air? "Well I don't have an idea about this but yes I can tell you that it will be an hour long episode just for two days," concludes Panchi.
Whereas Rucha says that, "I think it will be on air in June. The USP of the show is its unusual concept. You can say that this event has an element of reality but no judges and voting," she concludes.
