Yes ofcourse Atif looks like a clown now. Actually I had my questions about his integrity when after giving all the hints about Adilie being the endgame throughout the year he quickly jumped to other side. Like he had no regards for people who have been showing him all the love and respect. Even if you have to switch sides for any reason, show some grace and respect man.

I am a sucker for complex characters. Characters who look bad on the surface and their situations make them even worse but they have pure love in their heart. Like Rhett Butler in Gone with the wind, his love for Scarlett was a constant when though Scarlett kept getting married, then there is Severus Snape from Harry Potter series and now AKT.. now I come to think of it.. all three had incomplete love story but that's okay.. their love was as pure as it can be..

It amazes me that, even though Adi Imlie relation was based on Imlie’s faith but all Adilie fans will remember it for Adi's love as Imlie’s faith wavered in the end.

LOL I reget to inform you that Atif has always been like this, Aarti ji😆. Those of us who know of his origins since IB and DBO days never had any respect for him and he proved us right once again😆. Imlie will remain an outlier in his body of work cuz the Atif we know is incapable of making a show like that😆.

I love complex characters too, if executed well. That rarely happens outside of literature nowadays....and least of all on ITV.....lol.....that is why Imlie again feels like a fluke in many ways😆

I was like what about Adhi ??

From that day onwards i feel like they are more on the way to sympathise with Malini ... But never expected this muchwhat ever crimes she done will they ww also and showing as a victim .

I agree. Somehow it never came to my mind that we are watching a story of a bigamist 🤣🤣🤣 , the way people claim /bash Adi’s character. In fact I was able feel for Adi the most despite being flawed. It was more like a real life where people end up doing mistakes sometimes inspite of wanting to be good or correct. Makers made sure Adi’s actions were never been whitewashed and he repents unlike Imlie 🤣. In fact I was able to connect to Malini sometime. The makers made sure that the story has to be shown from all the 3 main characters perspective to the audience. In fact you gys won’t believe, I still remember the scene when Adi faints thinking Imlie has left him after she came to know Malini is her half sister, when Malini comes to Tripathi house when both Imlie and Adi were in their bedroom and after the bedroom fiasco Imlie will try to console/talk to Malini, and Malini will blast her royally, I was able to tell the same thing to the Imlie in the screen. The makers were able to capture everybody’s thoughts and weave in the plot line organically. But the sad part is being the titular character, Imlie is the least connected character in the show for me. Though Sumbul is phenomenal, Imlie’s character became annoying most of the times, as there was no growth and her faults never been addressed. Though the characters in the show may point Imlie’s mistakes, the makers made sure they will apologize to her the next day for misunderstanding her 🤣. Imlie’s character is too white to be able to connect. I wish they worked on her character well. Like everyone said, the complexity of the story and real depiction of flawed characters made it very compelling. In spite of Adi being super screwed up guy 🤣 our heart went for him because of his characterization and they way Gash was able to portray Adi’s inner turmoils, his diellema, guilt and his sense of wanting to do Justice to Imlie, at the same time try his best to bring minimal damage to Malini. He was trying to atleast balance though he failed most of the times. Another factor is the romance between Adi and Imlie which was never been forced and cliche. Whenever it happened, it happen very naturally and it actually leave the audience wanting for more. ( sorry for writing a big story 🤣)

Sorry to the maker of this post for deviating from topic..

Bold: so beautifully written.. this want to balance was misunderstood by many including me at that time, as a want to keep both women in his life.., one as a mother of his child and other as his rightful wife, actually we all loved when Malini was apparently on side for some time and his complete focus was on Imlie but when Malini started having issues ( by creating them) , he tries to balance while still wanting to do complete justice to Imlie and his relationship. That's where he failed big time.. many of us wanted to him to choose side clearly and send Malini home because we as viewer were seeing that he is failing but he as a character thought that he would be able to balance if Imlie just give her little support, but Imlie was not able to give that , understandably so, as Malini was making it difficult for her. When her dadda was caught in strom, that was breaking point for Imlie but Adi and us viewers never thought that that would lead to her getting attached to someone else.She was right in her anger and leaving, but to let go of the love from her heart was unacceptable to me atleast...

She knew Adi was being manipulated and she was tired of fighting alone ...so she left.. I thought she got her break and may be she will get some support from Aryan and then she will fight again for her relation, for Adi.. but she didn't.. when she left.. she left all of it...

Lol because Malini is a woman😆. Adi was not even given the basic consideration being a human being. we need to consider her 7 year investment . Lol if Malini had given her 7 years Didn't Adi also gave his 7 years . We did see Malini kaise Darra Dhamka ke rakha hai. Waise hi inn saath salom mai bhi rakha honga . And lol even if they had a physical relationship it was with mutal consent. We never heard once heard Malini accusing Adi about forcing on her while she had problem with he never touched her😆 How openly she said he never touches her. 🤣

I didn't understand when people start counting about 7 bloody years. . According to some people its paap for boys and girls who go through break up find a right person and fall in love .

LOL and this is the woman people were trying to sympathize with and whitewash till the end 😆. The woman who was so offended that a man wouldn't touch her anymore that she decided to rape him🤔. Adi totally pulled back from her once he realized his feelings for Imlie and was maintaining an honorable polite equation with her but Malini was so desperate always for him to touch her that she crossed all heinous limits. Again, this is the woman that people hold up as "dignified" and the actress herself justifies to this day. 😆

Anyways, people only understand straightforward boy meets girl, falls in love, gets married and manages family drama stories.....anything outside of that is instantly labeled "toxic" or "bigamy"😆.

The balance which I mentioned was intially when he wants to tell the truth intially to MALINI ASAP so that she can be freed from a loveless marriage and at the same time giving the rightful place to Imlie in his life. I was able to connect to Adi the most in the initial phase of the story. After JM fiasco, even I wanted Adi to side with Imlie, and Imlie’s anger was rightful, though most of the things could have been avoided if Imlie not being so mahaan or Adi’s extreme guilt.

I agree. Sometimes I do feel, Imlie was actually in love with the concept of being married and not with the person with whom she actually got married. Later when she claimed, she found her prem sagar with Aryan, it was actually laugh worthy 😀.

But I think that also explains his state of mind then. Malini was not giving him any reason to doubt her and she was willing to co-operate, so from his perspective Imlie was being stubborn which ofcourse was not the case. But Imlie was right in her anger, if only she had tried to be bit smart in exposing Malini instead of being bull headed all the time..

How much I miss then 🥺 Havent found anything so deep after this..

from the next day of first mahaepisode , i started a feel that imlie started to distance emotionally from Adhi . In many of the post i expressed my view also . I subtly only said this , mainly because i skipped many episodes at that time . And not much active in forum also.

Distancing from Adhi was shown many place and even i started a feeling that , imlie is just trying to be nice but in actually we can see she doesn’t done anything as such .

Many may disagree but i always feel imlie have a dark side . Which she expressed with Adhithya more .... More than any other person , she was effected by Adhithya .

The exexution of story failed in big time ... If they continue imlies character arc consistent after 310 they will do better ..... Actually they reversed her character growth .

Even though i doesn’t like the fact she falling for Aryan , and can’t imagine imlie with other man ... I doesn’t get a shock .
