I always wanted to watch this serial after seeing a couple of promos initially but didn't get a chance due to work etc. But, in the last week or two, I have binge- watched all the episodes and am LOVINGG it...
Wanted to share my thoughts with all of you and see what you think:
1. Shadi track was not needed!! Why do ITV dramas are in such a hurry to get the leads married?? I would have loved to see the progression from enemies to friends to best friends, maybe business partners and then falling in love and then marriage...this majboori marriage concept is old and worn now!
2. Karan Wahi- He was always around but I never noticed him as a "hot guy" up until this serial...he has aged well 😳
3. Niyati- She is good...I think she is a newcomer? At least I have never seen any other work of hers yet..but I like her..she has captured the essence of Ginny very well
4. Adi's Stepmom- What do you guys think of her? I initially felt like she was evil..but as the story is progressing, I am actually thinking she might be positive and its Ambar who is the evil villain...it would be so refreshing to see a good step-mom for a change on ITV..would love to see Ginny playing catalyst and Adi-Supreet bonding eventually
5. Adi's sis- I don't recall her name but how conveniently they married off the sick sister? Its appalling that even Dadaji supported this hiding the truth crap!!
6. Sikh references- I like the sikh references and Punjabi words every now and then...never really interacted with Sikhs much and I love to get to know diff cultures so its fun to watch!
7. How can someone be as dumb as Ginny's bhratashri (brother)??!!
8. I am looking forward to Ginny's friend and Arman's track in future! Might be fun to see that too as a side track!
9. Do we have a topic to capture lyrics of all versions of "Channa Mereya" they are using? Today's version was soo good! Love other versions too!
