I thought there will be a leap but they didn’t get to spend even some time with their baby.

I have a theory why 2nd gen leap happened in a rush and everything else was scrapped to suit their needs.

I am guessing the story line after 1st leap was...to get ARU stay mad at imlie and like a typical male lead. Blame her...

She looses to hurt her ..and after multiple misunderstandings when their wedding is on the way imlie breaks the weddinf saying he is still married

Then drag for another bit and in the mean time tashan..they make up..and malini. Ka pardafash. Etc...

This would have ruined ARU ka whole character..and I think Fahmaan did not like it...he did this shit in his old series ..so.said no..then Sumbul pe.try Kia she said no....so.did the creative...hence GUL ji ne revenge liya

It has nothing to do with them.playing parents to a baby

Because both Sumaan loves and knows Arylie ver well. So they didn’t want to play the butchering of them. And so declined and decided to quit.

Well FK already mentioned in an IV that he is not comfortable playing a father onscreen yet. Same goes for Sumbul.

And yeah some part of your theory might be true. And it's always better to end a character for once and all rather than butchering it bit by bit.

Waise bhi aru ke character ka almost kabaada kar hi diya... So i don't think this is the reason.... There were speculation that it's because the ratings didn't change... Ya they were good but they expected that a leap would get more ratings... Which did not happen either with imlie nor with yrkkh...

but why even show the miscarriage and arylie separation in the first place? there were so many potential tracks post arylie's love realization. even after arylie's marriage they were rushing through everything and shoved the stupid cheeku ke papa kaun and jyo track on us. yet it could've gone many ways post the mc: ie how arylie recover from it together, how imlie focuses on her career. they could have still shown them emotionally drifting apart post the mc and focusing on their respective business/career, then introduce a business rival for aryan or new challenge for imlie's journalism. but no, they HAD to ruin it

anyway, if any of your guesses are true, then i dont blame either FK or ST for quitting
