You should listen to the full song and watch the show properly sometime. First 50 episodes. They did a mess once they began focusing too much on personal conflict instead of the full-blown struggle it was, feel free to skip the cheesy scenes, but some of the episodes are class.

Actually itna well-layered show hai na, subtly talking about freedom of expression, religion and class, against the background of 17 August 1947. The title song, seeming all peppy in the start by showcasing the innocence of love, ending with the despair that the person will never get to see their loved ones again😭Romance is a part, but not the whole journey. Idealised harmony shown initially maybe, but makes it more impactful when the tragedy hits & everyone is forced to take sides, where the wrong one spells death 🥺
