On other matters, I feel these people did not really get the episode...which is quite understandable since the changes that happened in Ayet's dynamics in this episode was too subtle to notice when you are watching this show among 5 other shows...

P.S. Aamna's breakdown of Basit's reaction to Fahad Ayesha was good.

Give me update yaar .... too lazy to check review video 😳😳

1. Khuda aur mohabat - i loved the OST so ended up watching some random clips and there the hero says to the heroine something that goes by the line - if you can't love me back then i give you Baddua (first of all , Heroine never agreed to HIS one side love, i don't know about the end where she surprisingly might have fallen in love but that one dialogue - it was just so mean like the woman doesn't have a choice).

2. Aye musht e khak - Again a man i hated, (after Dunk and before Sana's controversies I liked her so ended up watching the teasers and all but again a man that was just strange...) if someday you want to have a look you can go for clips of these two dramas.

People like bad guys and all, maybe young teens who don't know a thing about such kind of abuse in relationships (a possible reason why these dramas were a massive hit) but when we have seen a fair share of relationships in our lives and around us, we know how much important it is that the MEN in a girl's life are calm, supporting and most of all believe that the girl has a say in everything that is concerned to her.

apologies if my words hurt anyone's sentiments.

Oh I hvnt watched any of his dramas before...

Started liking him after habs and whatever I understood from his recent/old interviews ( the few I watched) , he is always under scanner after his announcement of leaving industry nd doing meaningful roles only..

That's why every character he played/plays is being questioned...

I am shocked to see ppl actually love such obsessive lovers... freak they even wish for a same guy for themselves

I don't know in what mindset they actually root for such characters...

This on going show kaisi teri khudgarzi... man ppl are mad for male lead ... I tried watching and couldn't bear even one episode... every week I see this show leading with millions of views..

So can we really blame writers/ makers ?

This is what viewers are asking for... these ppl are just doing business...

Bold :- completely agree...

But I wouldn’t put it pass Qudsia to do anything

Right said .... but it is really heartbreaking to see what she is doing with bano's life...

I know she is doing same with all her kids but with bano, I don't know I just feel more for her.

Poor girl deserves the happiness which her mom has snatched from her for her own selfish motive..

Can't wait for bano-fahad story to start...

I

actually people don't love obsessive characters. They love their journey from darkness to light , they love the transformation bec it gives them hope that's is possible to overcome the vices.

Anyways .to each their own . How they interpret is upto them. Some ppl say that showing transformation is also wrong bec in reality such ppl never change.

Ktk is an extreme show..the hero is irredeemable on all counts.

Okay I know I’m late but here’s my take on the episode:

Firstly, I absolutely loved it ❤️

Coming to Basit and Fahad conversation, I like how Basit acknowledges that Ayesha values relationships but in turn questions whether she understands him. This was a valid concern, considering how Ayesha couldn’t properly grasp the extent of Basit’s pain and regret. I found Fahad’s advice to be very apt. Basit questioning Fahad whether Ayesha told him that she felt closer to Sadia, said a lot. It shows that Basit wants to be understood by Ayesha.

Coming to the nightmare, Feroze absolutely nailed the scene. You could feel Basit’s vulnerability and fear. I loved how Ayesha consoled him, she was so soft and affectionate in that scene. 🥰 I also appreciated how Basit let Ayesha comfort him. I think it must have given her some boost in confidence regarding the relationship. In fact, this moment would have probably served as a turning point for Basit more than Ayesha. I think he felt secure to open up to her and show her his vulnerable side. Ayesha’s presence in that moment must have been so grounding for him that he didn’t have to take any pills. I loved loved loved the way Ayesha caressed his jaw❤️.

Coming to the morning chai scene, I felt that Basit attempted to put his guard up slightly even when he wanted to spend time with Ayesha. Ayesha serving Basit chai and then trying to walk away demonstrated how she felt about their relationship. In fact, Ayesha’s phone conversation with her mother and subsequently with Bano (at her maternal home) showcases Ayesha’s insecurities regarding the relationship. She most probably feels that the only reason Basit is being cordial with her is because they’re married but he has no feelings for her and doesn’t desire her.

But something changed between the morning chai scene and the book scene. We saw them being comfortable in each other’s presence. The natural ease with which Basit came and discretely snatched away the book that Ayesha was reading was a delight. The embarrassed smile that she gave in return made me blush ☺️ Ayesha almost running away to make coffee shows that she’s still slightly shy with the whole romantic angle.

Basit on the other hand looked more at ease, I felt that he was being a bit flirty in the whole scene. And then when he asked Ayesha if she was naraaz with him over something was adorable! The old Basit would never have voiced something like that. He looked like a little boy in that scene. In that moment he wanted to be soft with wifey, he wanted to her to talk and just bask in being together. Do you think this is subconsciously because of Fahad’s advice?

Ayesha touching on his mother’s subject may have seemed annoying to some but I think it was important. Maybe because she has seen Basit suffering (remember his nightmare?). Perhaps he’s been having such nightmares every night. It is important that he overcomes his guilt and regret at this point in their marriage.

The graveyard scene was a delight. Ayesha truly looked like his wife when she supported him and encouraged him while sharing stories. Basit felt like a child while talking to his mum. A very important dialogue was when he said “Mumma look at Ayesha, ro rahi hai”. I heard Fushcia’s review where they said that this was misplaced and unnecessary but I felt that in this scene Basit felt like he really was talking to his mother and considering how close Ayesha and Sadia were, he must’ve silently craved being part of their dynamic and wanted to do this now. He also includes Ayesha in this whole conversation.

Basit’s emotions, his complaints, his love and regret for time lost were poignant.

The scene where Basit waits for Ayesha to hold her hand symbolises a lot. It shows that he derives his strength and comfort from Ayesha and maybe in turn he wanted to comfort and thank her. But that scene sort of cemented their comfort with each other.

Coming to office politics, Jawad was very annoying and shouldn’t have been given another change. Basit the boss was the best as usual. Bano, I admire her strength and subsequently feel for her. Waiting for her and Fahad’s story to start. She deserves some happiness.

Did anybody notice how Basit was tired and in a bit of a mood in the office when he accused his employees of not doing any work but then was all soft and flirty with wifey once he got back ☺️. Also Basit now keeps thinking of Ayesha in free time in office ❤️

This is a very long post, will discuss precap in the next.

nothing out of the world but nonetheless she was on the right track, I felt...she said that from the beginning Habs has established that Basit has deep-seated mistrust in the idea of marriage and women's role in a marriage. Initially he had not been that emotionally invested in Ayesha and so was still alright when Ayesha and Fahad had that dinner together. But now we are seeing that he is emotionally invested in her and that makes him vulnerable. And being vulnerable he will tend to be over-cautious and that will may make him angry at seeing Fahad and Ayesha chit-chatting or whatever promos hinted at....

Coming to the precap, we know by now that Habs’ precaps are generally misleading. We know that Ayesha and Fahad seem to be acting together and hiding it from Basit. But what is it about?

I have a few guesses:

Zoya running away

Basit’s mom revealing something important to Ayesha

Something to do with Basit (and his welfare)

Fahad’s interest in Bano (although that seems a little unlikely given how early it is)

I did not like Amna and Hassan’s review this time. They said that episode was not enjoyable and there was no progression in the story. However, the entire fandom rejoiced on the progression of Ayet’s relationship. This episode solidified their relationship, gave some adorable moments, made Basit open up to Ayesha, helped Ayesha understand Basit better and even gave him some closure.

Hassan, I believe is too simplistic and doesn’t have a good grasp on human emotions. He did not get the significance of the hand holding scene in the graveyard.

Moreover, he couldn’t understand that Bano reminiscing how Basit stood up for her which Talal never did was not Bano being interested in Basit but rather her recognising a very important quality in a man which she would like her partner to have. Bano doesn’t have many male figures in her life and therefore wasn’t aware that a familial male figure taking a stand for you is mostly expected in a relationship. This sequence made her realise that she was pining after the wrong man and that Talal was never the right person for her.

Amna was right when she said that when Basit sent Ayesha to dinner with Fahad, he wasn’t emotionally invested in her. Which is why he couldn’t understand why she was so upset that he never showed up.

However, now things are changing. Ayesha is the only family he has left. She is also responsible for him speaking his heart out at his mother’s grave. She’s also the only one apart from Fahad who is aware of his dynamic with his mother. Basit now shares a bond with Ayesha, he’s getting emotionally attached to her. There’s an unceasing recognition in him that she’s his wife and he probably doesn’t want to repeat what happened with his mother and then regret it later.

It is important to understand that Basit in a lot of ways is still that child who has craved his mother’s love and attention. He would be in future transferring a lot of these feelings to his wife. He has now started craving Ayesha’s presence. Anybody taking away that attention be it his best friend Fahad would be looked at with suspicion. Add to that Basit’s mistrust of women which won’t go away simply because he has decided to speak his heart out and forgive his mother. These wounds take a very long time to heal and the scar remains forever. Basit would be more cautious now with his heart and the slightest mishap has the ability to make him go crazy.

Remember when Basit told Ayesha that he values personal space a lot in relationships? I think that will slowly go out of the window as he becomes more emotionally invested in her.

Also did anyone notice that he had brought Ayesha flowers in the precap? 🥰 Meri toh ichha poori ho gayi😂

Why do I get a feeling that he’s pissed off Ayesha the previous day which is why at the dining table when he’s serving her breakfast (seems like it), he looks at her for approval but she seems disappointed. Maybe the flowers are an apology but then he sees Fahad there and becomes angry?

What do you guys think?

I’m personally not dreading the precap but look forward to it. This will make Basit realise Ayesha’s importance in his life and help him strengthen his relationship with her to ultimately overcome his trust issues.
