Episode 2 is actually good, I promise!

... Okay, good by Jhalak standards, but still. I enjoyed some aspect of every single act in this episode, and seeing Manish Paul and Karan Johar bully each other brings me inexplicable amounts of joy.

Nia:

• Her intro was highkey more cringe than Dheeraj's intro, and I didn't think that was possible.
• It actually bugs me that I really liked her act. The choreo was really good and she did very well.
• I also liked what Nora said about dancing vs. performing, it was an interesting distinction to make, but it does not apply to Nia whatsoever.

Zorawar:

• OH! He's a chef. I thought he played a dad or something.
• I didn't really like his act personally, but it wasn't bad at all. I thought it was really smart of Suchitra to have such an elaborate set and other gimmicks to slightly distract from the fact that it was difficult for Zorawar to pick up the choreo (and there's nothing wrong with that!).
• Speaking of Suchitra, she seems vaguely familiar, but I can't quite place her. Does anyone know if she's been on Jhalak before, or even some other dance show?

Faisu:

• When he said "naam toh suna hi hoga" I was like "bhai, maine zindagi mein pehli baar aapka naam suna hai". What's he known for as an influencer?
• YO, VAISHNAVI'S WON BEFORE??? I thought they never brought back any of the winning choreographers for new seasons.
• I almost cried when Chand Tare Tod came on, that song is one of my biggest weaknesses, if that was the whole I would've given him the trophy then and there.
• Is he a dancer?? He's quite impressive! The choreo felt a little halka, but I get it, it's the first episode. But he's actually a good dancer, I would like to see some more challenging choreo.

Niti:

• NOBODY TOLD ME SHE WAS GONNA BE ON THE SHOW, I FEEL SO BETRAYED.
• I'm absolutely biased, but yeah, this was my favourite act. I love Niti's choreographer, although I've never seen him anything before, this act was so good. And Niti's a great dancer, I've always enjoyed seeing her dance!

Gunjan:

• She's ADORABLE!!! I wasn't super invested in Dance Deewane, but I did see a few of her acts here and there, and I think she's amazing.
• That being said, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but she's very much so accustomed to doing her own style of dance right? Because if that's the case, I feel like JDJ is the right place to try and get her to try different styles of dance.

Paras:

• I was so nervous for his act because I was just like, "dude, I honestly came here for you, so you better be pulling out all the stops," and you know what? He did! Maybe it's my bias talking, but I loved his act so much.
• He's also one of the contestants that I hope to see different styles from. I feel like the most unique act of the week came from Gashmeer.
