i agree. i feel she should be honest with him too. and iâm guessing sheâll come clean in todayâs episode. though, i have a difference of opinion about her sting operation night lie. the purpose of her lie was to not alarm or trouble Aryan, since she knew how much he worried for her. it was a white lie that was intended to have had a constructive effect. had Jo not existed/entered their lives, that white lie wouldnât have had any bearing/consequence at all on anything. everything would have remained status quo. so in my pov, the real root of that issue was not Imlieâs white lie per se, but Joâs entry into their life with the intention of wrecking havoc in their marriage and her spinning Imlieâs otherwise harmless white lie around to serve her purpose.Yes,the constant taunts are unecessary but I still feel that she should tell him the truth. Hiding things are also not going to do any good. Even during the Jo track initially she was at fault for lying about the sting operation. Later Aryan definitely was wrong and he himself admitted it.
This time Imlie also admitted her fault in last Wednesday's episode but sadly Aryan doesn't remember a thingđ˘
oh, but i did. he did speak to her in a soft manner. but he also blindsided her with an absolutely mean and unnecessary taunt, at an extremely bad timing (like she just went through a whole lot of panic and stress over her wardâs illness). it was plain rude, and he knew that himself. which is why, he apologised right after. but one canât take the impact of oneâs spoken words back in the blink of an eye, can they? especially not that of those spoken over and over. she trusts Aryan and her feelings, while he trusts Imlie and facts before him. thatâs the gist. neither is wrong, both are right in their own right.Originally posted by: livelytanu
You did not see the way Aryan was talking with Imlie in the episode. In a soft manner. The only justification to her telling lies to Aryan is she doesn't trust him. She just doesn't trust Aryan.
