Most overrated/Underrated performance according to you?

List few Actors whose particular roles you thought were super overrated & didn’t deserved the Status it has achieved today? And also underrated ones which should have gotten the hype . 

Imo Kareena’s Geet was overrated In Jab We met & she was much better in Talaash as Rosie. 

Priyanka in fashion was super mediocre, yet she won all the awards including National. Imo she was so much better in Barfi.

SRK is known as King of romance but I liked him more in Swades and Chak De India than his romantic movies and roles. 

I agree with Kareena one. I didn't like her much in any of loud roles much including Geet while I found her better in subtle roles or something like Rosie in Talaash  like you mentioned. 

Ranbir in Rocket Singh >>>> Ranbir in Sanju 

Varun Dhawan in October >>> In any of his box office successful movie 

Abhi ,I can only recall these. Will keep updating... 

Varun was good in Badlapur as well. 

Overrated performances:

1. Ranveer in Bajirao Mastani - IMO he overacted

2. Vidya in Sherni/Jalsa -- I think she could have been better

Underrated performances --

1. Ayushmann in Anek -- He was very good. Most people haven't seen d movie but I was impressed

2. Ileana D' Cruz in Barfi -- I honestly think she emoted perfectly

3. Yami in Kaabil -- Superlative performance, sadly overlooked

4. Hrithik in Kaabil -- same as above

5. Deepika in Lafungey Parindey -- Sadly, this performance is overlooked. She was brilliant.

Akshay Kumar in Garam Masala was better than anything anyone did in 2005

SRK - KHAN SAAB - All performances Overrated. 

Salman - All performances Underrated.

All performances of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are overrated. 

Overrated. Alia in gully boy

Underrated.. Hrithik roshan in guzaarish 

Ranveer in Lootera. 

Off the top of my mind:

Overrated: 

1. Vidya for Kahaani. Looking back at it, she did a great job, undoubtedly, but the story, direction and supporting cast also did wonders. Priyanka did a much more superior job in Barfi, and didn't deserve to be snubbed at the awards.

From Team Kahaani, Saswata Chatterjee deserved much more recognition...he was an absolute menace! 

2. Alia in Gully Boy. Not her acting but her accent...didn't sound tapori enough (tho she does speak better Hindi in the newer gen).

Underrated:

1. Karishma Kapoor in Zubeidaa. Its not easy to be so on point while working alongside actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Rekha...Karishma really did a fantastic job.

2. I'd say the entire supporting cast of Dil Dhadhakne Do. Everyone was just so good...and everyone had their own distinct personalities. By the end of the movie, I was more invested in Rana and Noorie's relationship 😆
