Do kids these days watch movies even? All the school going kids I see these days are barely interested in movies, they have a different world altogether consisting of snapchat, influencers, YouTube game streams and what not.

All 3 of them tried to show me the movie on separate occasions. So I think the movie. It's the most enthusiasm I have seen outside Minecraft videos. I would personally rather suffer through Minecraft than Pushpa though. đ

No they dont. And even if they do, they are probably more interested in adult onesđ
Bollywood has no good content for kids or young adults or what you call kidult genre.
I miss times when films like Kitaab, Masoom, Anjali, Halo, TZP were made.
But they are put in art film or offbeat category.
I am fed up of religious characters shown in kids films. I want original content and not stuff on Bheem, Ganesha, Krishna, Hanuman, Shiva etc.
In that sense global content is much better. We had shows and toons on Disney, Fox Kids, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon in 90s and early 2000s which could be enjoyed by kids, teens and adults alike. Alf, Small Wonder, Drake n Josh, Kenan n Kel, Clarissa, Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Jetsons or movies like Kung Fu Panda, Toy Story, Home alone, Brady bunch, Little Rascals etc could be enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
India has Never had content that kids and adults alike could enjoy.
Even superhero films are juvenile. Krish series is juvenile compared to Marvel and DC films abroad.
Ye lo ji kids film
Brahmastra review: Ayan Mukherjiâs Rs 410 crore grand vision ends up becoming a film for kids!
Previously Bollywood used to release major pictures after exam season and used to market them as such too
Abhi Monday se pure india me half yearly exams start ho rahe aur yeh log brahmastra release kar rahe
I don't even understand what audience Bollywood is catering to nowadays
