Yeah, if same or even better quality movie can be made with lesser cost in South, why is BW spending so much money??

So much corruption and too much payment for the male leads..do.they really need to be paid like 40 Cr and all

Yeah I think that has ruined the industry. I don’t think any heroine has come close to being paid that much. Look how many movies PC or Vidya carried on their shoulders in their prime.

Yes they should reduce their budget

Bollywood is not doing well

Male and female actors should take less money (males usually take a large portion of the budget)

ya they should cut the budget. In fact, the main leads should be made to pay to do the film. 😛It's their celebrity through films that they also get to earn from brand endorsements. Jahaan dekho, someone is selling pan masala, some female actress is selling her favorite underwear, someone else is selling her favorite bail-gadi. 😆Arre bhai, how much more money do these low talented characters need to make. It's like the loser Indian cricketers. Relative to the ad money they make and the money they earn from the nautanki IPL show, the match fees and the salaries for actually playing cricket are a pittance. At least learn how to make yedas of the public from these cricketers! 😆

They don't need to reduce budget. They need to manage their budget properly.

Stop putting actors on a pedestal (especially male leads) and giving them unreasonable amount of money which leads to cutting costs for production Audience has mostly stopped their hero-worshipping of these actors. But producers are still in this notion, that movies only run because of the lead actor's stardom and audience doesn't care about anything else in the film.

There was a trend of Bollywood movies being shot in abroad in late 90s, early and mid 2000s especially by YRF and Dharma even though it has no bearing to movies plot, because Indian audience loved seeing foreign locales. That trend stopped because audience got over seeing foreign locations in movies. But it took some time for Bollywood to get that message.

It would again take time because Bollywood as usual is slow in getting something.
