We are all entitled towards our opinions.

Rupali is an extremely talented actress who has delivered some incredible episodes in Anupamaa itself.

But the story and direction currently is just lousy. No actor can improve it. If you make Meryl Streep act like Anu every day, day in and day out, even she will start to grate on you.

My issue is that Rupali’s immense calibre as an actress is never touched upon. Nowadays she is only given OTT drama, bad costumes and makeup, thu thu thu timepass, nazar utaraoing, Maa jaap, Baa jaap, Bachchon ke pita jaap, and now Mere Anuj jaap. Thats all.

There is so much scope to make Anu act like a real person, show her vulnerabilities, her strength and fortitude, her growth, her intimate mature relationship with Anuj. With a better script Rupali will shine again.

Agree its time to show progress in Anus ckt, with unconditional love comes unconditional understanding, respect, insecurities and fears. Not jealousy neither do I want to see constant validation of relationship by them. No, where are those lines of 'don't be so Good'?? Deepen to solidify their relationship that already is v good. I need Anujs walls to come down n let her in on deeper level. There is trust in relationship, he is open book to her and at same time there is so much that can be explore where both actors can shine as they gel amazingly well.

If its easy to switch off the TV, its also easy to not visit IF, not read forum posts and not post replies too, isn't it? Also i don't understand this blind celebrity worship. One can always like celebrities who provide entertainment but I am always puzzled by the unhealthy attachment and reverence some people have with celebrities

In any other walk of life, a paying customer can complain without issues. Say i paid for a shoe and it didn't come out great, i can blame the company and owners. No one will say if I criticize a product owner, it gets on their nerves. Why should celebrities be different?

Now do keep in mind I am talking only about criticism of acting and professionalism and not criticism of their private lives or casting aspirations on their character or motives in real life. That's vile.

But the criticism I see here is mostly about acting, expression, delivery, dancing etc. What personal attacks are you seeing? .

I will never understand people who defend rich celebrities as if they are their personal family. They are getting money for their performances so the paying viewers have every right to their opinions, judgment and criticism of the same performance. And they are getting paid huge money all the time for every performance, its not like they are taking a money cut. If they have signed for the Parivaar show its because they are getting paid huge bucks, its not like its for charity.

Higher fame and higher money will also draw higher scrutiny and higher criticism. They are both part of the same coin and you cannot have one without the other. Higher fame will draw higher expectations which in turn will set higher standards and that in turn will lead to higher criticism. You cannot be ok with the fame and money and then try to draw the line at criticism. It doesn't work that way. These are the stars of the most popular series in the country, so they will be measured against those standards. Just like the CEO of a company is measured differently froma new joinee. No one says - lets be kind to the CEO, do they? Everyone knows they are getting top money and top job and name so they have more scrutiny, not less

I know we live in a country where cricketers and actors are worshipped and their fans take any criticism personally, but that's not something to be proud of.

Also i believe criticism is okay. They r getting tye trp because people watch show what if audience doesnt like it. They have the freedom of speech. Also what happen in the forums discussions is no way affecting them directly.
i dont like blind bhakti either. Some people does have that attitude that the actor could never be wrong and they r ready to defend them whats so ever.

Anupama is the face of the show, so people have expectations from her and we don’t know how many women look up to her. It’s the audience only who has given her and show immense love, so it’s the responsibility of the channel and actors also to think about them. But Everyone is working for self-interest, for money, not for the people.

Sorry to say.Actors are working on more than one project is not the execuse for this crap or lame performance.

Can we give this excuse at our workplace in case of a project fails or quality suffers? We will be fired on that day only. From a medical professional to a person working in Airlines, no matter how much their salary is, how hard their life is .. If they start compromising or making mistakes, what would be the consequences needless to say.

If we go to a restaurant and are served stale or rotten food. ..Leave stale food, even different in taste. Do we accept it considering that food should not be wasted or the effort of staff? When we are particular about physical diet, why can't we complain about anything related to people’s emotional diet? Somewhere or the other it affects, and influences the people, kids and we are not getting it for free.

Why Anupama cannot be criticized, have viewers spared baapuji ….Baa and Vannu just bcoz they are villians of the show?

My point is – if no quality content, not entertaining, only negativity, illogical drama .. new shows, and new talents should be given chance. OTT has limited access but ITV reaches millions of people so channels and actors should be more responsible toward the audience.

Yes there was some criticism about her dancing skills and sometimes also on acting but i think it was kind of constructive criticism. The choreography is not good at all in the show and sometimes even great actors mess up their performance in acting so its kind of ok...its not that big deal. Other than this i didn't find any criticism of rupali which comes under personal attack.

Infact to be honest, rupali se jyada log personal attack to SP par kar dete hain. Kab vanraj ka criticism hadh paar karke SP the actor par chala jata hai pata hi nahi chalta. Wo bhi kam nahi hai... sometimes i feel he knowingly gives some provoking statements but then also...he should not be targeted personally...but i wonder usko defend karne to koi nahi aaya.🤣

I agree with the last line. Sometime I feel SP trolls well back with his statements too 🤣. But Vanraj's character is hilarious.

Its been a while, since saw you on the forum. Hope all is well 👍🏼

@bold that is a good analogy. Its difficult to see a show with so much potential be wasted
