See I feel , this time around even if Arylie die by Malini’s doing ,after her pardafash, it shouldn’t be considered a bad ending for Imlie , as long as Arylie reunite and their kid is born and they stay together till the end ..

if they were to die before they reunite, THAT I would consider a bad end with Aryan too ..something like : they consummate and then get separated again , and when Aryan finally is on his way to Imlie , while Imlie is giving birth .. and MC gets Aryan killed before he can reach Imlie and Imlie dies in childbirth without seeing Aryan🫢🫢 now that will be very unfortunate 🤷‍♀️😄

the duo has to die for s2 to begin .. they will most probably die trying to save each other and in the process take Malini along too .. cuz I dont think Malini will appear as a ckt in s2 unless Mayuri wants to play an aged mom

No but why will audience sit for season 2 is my question.

If arylie have a happy ending it's a closure for arylians (that means all the current audience with er online or trp) and they won't sit to watch new ML with sumbul even for arylie baby.

If arylie have a sad ending, the viewers will be miffed and wouldn't sit for S2 unless it's a reincarnation story with SuMaan as arylie in AU.

Either way S2 is fcked.

the only section of the Arylie fd that Gul might be able to tap into for s2 , with a happy ending , might be the Sumbul fd .. who were supporting Arylie cuz Sumbul was a part of Arylie .. and they might still watch s2 if Sumbul stays and Gul gets a compelling new ML for her .. So irrespective of a happy or sad ending , I see 3 sections giving s2 an initial chance and tune in to see what its gonna be about :

1) Sumbul fd

2) trp audience.

3) New ML fd

If Gul ropes in someone like, lets say Vikram Singh Chauhan ( completely random example 😄 )..immensely popular in his own right, erstwhile Gul hero.. in such a case, the above 3 audience segment might still stay on for s2

No popular actor will come to a 600 episode old show, especially to compete against once in a lifetime character like ASR and the pressure to match up to arylie chemistry with new ship.

Any new comer doesn't bring large fandom.

Trp audience as i said won't connect to sumbul with 3rd ML in less than 2 years

and Hence show will die before the character of new gen unfolds and ship is even build to have fans

Yaar I am assuming , the scenarios in which s2 might flop , must be obvious to ph and channel too .. and tje fact that they r still hell bent on thinking about s2 right now , makes me think these folks must hv a compelling plan of action which , warna kyu s1 end krte ..🤔

Arre toh new show banaye na completely what's the point of retaining imlie for namesake?

It is no flagship like yrk or tmkoc given less than 2 year run with soo many inconsistencies.

And gul was never interested in imlie from the beginning, let's not pretend she suddenly cares about running with soo much difficulties when it'd be soo much easier to capitalise on popularity of current established pair.

There's no situation like lack of tracks in ITV. I can think of 5 more plots for arylie off my head 😂

@ novice1 We are sure Cheeku is gonna be a girl coz that's what Gul said in some interview. She mentioned season 2 and something about Arylie's daughter who they were gonna seed in later. That's why everyone has been anticipating the consummation that would lead to this.😆

Maybe Ph ko prime time ka slot retain krna hai , so cant end it flat out.. , but Gul doesn’t really care about Arylie .. hence she doesn’t wanna keep their story running .. then the only way is to retain Sumbul and start a new story in the name of s2, without actually ending the show 🤷‍♀️.. the 8:30 slot also stays with the ph then

Vikram Singh Chauhan is even older than Fahmaan and seriously is there a dearth of capable male actors in their early twenties who can be cast opposite her?

then came in Aryan , someone in their early 20s could hv played a 27 year old Aru .. but they couldn’t hv potrayed ASR .. ASR is a mature Ckt.. u need that maturity to reflect in the persona too..

However, if s2 showcases a younger FL ML pair .. then ofcourse someone in their early 20s can fit the bill too ..
