I guess Basit knows that their relationship is not one where Ayesha would voluntarily think of doing something like planning a birthday party for him. He had scolded his mother for trying to make Ayesha act like a conventional wife earlier and immediately sees his mother's hand in planning of the party as well.

I was initially wondering about the fact that Basit had that outburst before all those guests. But then I realised these were all his childhood friends.

So what's sadia asking from ayesha is to never give up on basit . She knows he is turned into such a person that nobody would want to be close to him ,he keeps pushing them away ..strangely he shares a close relationship with his friends , he is very normal with them. But probably when it comes to family , he never lets anyone near him, for the fear of abandonment .

I'd say Salman (his father) was a really really bad father who was oblivious to his child's pain , let this hatred simmer inside him for all these years , couldn't fill up for sadia after forcing her to leave basit with him.He never considered taking him to a therapist ..he probably knew that's why he made the will, but if he knew , why didn't he do anything about it ?

Anyways .

How the car scene part 1 and part 2 turned out to be 😵totally opposite ..he called his marriage a "jhanjhat" and that aurtein kabhi khush nahi reh sakti ..n there they ended it abruptly .

It’s a beautiful poster, just melting with anticipation, wish he held her hand too, or even the fingers should have touched.

Here, she looks at him, she reaches him, he is all smiles, but looks ahead and keeps his hands to himself.

For me, the journey should not be Basit within his ambit and Ayesha coming to him. Coming to each other, albeit at different pace, is an important aspect of togetherness.

Wonderfully observed! And I think this is not the end of their journey ...but the new phase where you have Ayesha warming up to Basit and Basit relishing in the warmth she is showering on him.

Let us hope the next stage is one where he too reaches for her. Holds her and is not hesitant in showing his feelings for her.

Yes. Previously also he correctly guessed it when sadia was involved in any of his affairs. He keeps warning her again and again and again . He knows her that well.

You put your finger on Qudsia's pulse here! Seriously that woman is quite something.

Also she literally has faith in no one...she was all sweet on Basit to get him to hire Bano but as soon as Bano joined the office, she was like how much are they paying you? Did you ask? And the icing on the cake...you are not doing them any favours, you work for them and have the right to know your salary amount! I mean like give Bano a break, woman!

And yess I too feel like Sadia is going to go away...not die but go away.
