Taran Adarsh...Should stars STOP giving interviews to *media persons-

I agree with his say....actually the overdose promotion , media press, interviews yada bore me. i find it annoying, ...i said many times ....let your movies speak...if they are good it will be loved, if ghatiyaa...it needs to be thrashed.

In the 1970s and 1980s, outdoor hoardings, 6-sheet posters and newspapers were used to market #Hindi films... Film-makers used to concentrate on content, promotions were secondary... Should producers/Studios go back to the traditional ways to promote their films?

Aamir before covid19 didnt promote his old movies but still they did well. Now very few films do well in Bollywood without promotion - the kashmir files

i don't want to see the stars annoying faces and listen to their bakwaas to lure me to theaters.

I mean if a person can run a country without any media interaction why can't they make a movie without any media interaction? Ultimately, people should do what they want to do. Unless their job was supposed to have some accountability criteria.

I'm with him on this. In trying to sound woke and with times, these celebs come out sounding dumb and arrogant. It's best if they keep quiet and let the trailer, teaser, and songs do the talking instead. Only a few celebs actually talk sense.

At most one promotional event for the launch of the trailer is all they should do. And that too should be limited to talking about the movie and work.

its not only the starts, producers, directors, its the media too, the kind of questions they ask, getting into personal issues...like shouldn't they just stick on questions regarding the movie only. why get personal?

either media should boycott these starts and don't give them platform to promote or the stars should boycott the promotions.

You need the media interviews etc to gain a strong opening weekend. Good songs also help. Most people I know only know about Brahmastra through Kesariya. How do you gain *buzz* about a movie without those media interactions? Maybe a really solid trailer, like a Dangal. But sure, at the end of the day, content triumphs all.

I think BW needs promotions now more than ever. How else will they make controversial statements before their movie and get cancelled. If the movie flops, they can conveniently blame the audience. 😆
