In the end this is how the writers have decided to show how Aksu sacrifices it all. So having Dr. Khera put forth his condition and not just voice but life sort of explains why Akshu ultimately disappears to confuse everyone. Dr. Khera has said in a very indirect way he is selfish. So we are at least seeing that selfishness up front. I have a feeling from the time he got Akshu's message he was already crafting his plan on how to get Akshu to give her voice to his sister. Everything is piling up on Akshu and because of that she will take the most drastic decision to walk away from everything just so she can save Abhi's hand.

It was foreshadowed in the Gift of the Magi dream sequence. The story written by O. Henry which is a story about two people who love each other so much they sacrifice their most prized possessions for the other. The man, his watch so he can buy a new combo for his girl as the one she had broke. While the girl sold her hair to buy a new chain for her man's watch. They both gave up something dear to them for the other. So yes it seemed in vain but it showed how much they loved each other. Also, if you really think about it those things they bought was really material. The girl's hair will grow back one day so she can use the combo he bought. And they could one day buy a new watch so he can use the chain.

This track is just to show how much Abhira love each other and they can and will do anything for each other. It's a soft reboot to the show as they needed to get TRPs.

Also, there was a famous case of lip-syncing that occurred in real life by this group called Milli Vanilli who had sold millions of records and had gone on tour. The real singer recorded the song and they just lip-synced. They even won a Grammy for their album. Eventually everything ultimately came out.

If people haven't figured out Season 3 is really about the ML then I don't know what to tell them. The FL has been kept sort of damsel in distress. The only strength that is given to her is that she can tolerant a lot of people's crap. She loves everyone even if they really aren't worthy of love particularly her love. She will sacrifice for anyone she loves. She did it for Arohi. She's sort of doing it for Kairav. And she is definitely doing it for Abhi.

The writers continue to put Akshu in a bad situation and continue to keep her mute so that a misunderstanding can be created for the Birlas to hate her, the Goenkas to suffer another blow to their reputation, and for Abhi to question his trust in her and be angry at her for leaving him. Abhi's character may be intact in the sense if he sees wrong he will call it out and he will definitely do that especially in the Kairav mess but he won't know about the other half regarding Dr. Khera and Maya which she will receive a lecture about. And then when he finds out the truth that she did everything for him so his hand could be healed and he could get his life back then that is when all the buckets of tears will fall 😆

I've just resigned myself to the fact the writers want to keep Akshu dumb and mute which is a shame. I can only hope that Akshu 2.0 has a mouth on her and she say things to strangers and orders the staff people around 😆 (I'll take my little victories) but still be trapped in her guilt or whatever condition Dr. Khera and sister Maya do to her.

Mahima may have detectives follow Akshara as she goes to meet Kairav and then maybe Kairav dies in a shootout that follows.
Looks like they will not change Ak’s character post leap. She will be in hiding as the voice of Maaya. But What is stopping Akshara from getting out of this deal with Khera after Ahbi’s hand is fixed?

Why is Kairav going to be shot at? I don't think the show can take another death post leap. They are days away from the leap so it would really bad if that happened. Kairav cannot die.
