Karthikeya 1 - 3 Idiots + Indiana Jones

I liked it.

Could've done without the romance track and the songs. I knew what adventure was coming and fast-forwarded some of the other stuff.

I spotted the villain from the first time he made his appearance😆, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story. You could also tell the reason why it was happening.

Loved the way they handled both science and faith. Miracles do have scientific explanations mostly, and there are things beyond the explanations of science. I liked Karthik's admission in the last scene of how he might be too young and too inexperienced to understand it completely but would be open-minded.

The only thing I found jarring (not the romance and songs; they just didn't interest me) was the explanation for the deaths. As others told me, this was low-budget film, so I'm hoping there's more meat to the plot in K2.

It bugged me how they changed the heroine in the second film without any explanation when Karthik's love angle with Vaali was given alot of focus in the first part.

But this always happens with sequels in Indian movies. Heroines are replaced even if doesn't make any narrative sense.

Second part is indeed more grand and action packed since it's made on much higher budget.
